A.M.R, the extraordinarily gifted Qatari composer and DJ, has awed our label community in recent years, with a delicate and deep signature sound that is at once timeless and transcendent. Blending elements of deep house, downtempo, progressive house, and even orchestral music, his versatile, multifaceted compositions are capable of bringing you out on the dancefloor in one moment and inducing serene meditation in the next. It is our great privilege to present "A Place For Everything," A.M.R's debut album.

It begins and closes with stirring orchestral pieces, which bookend an otherwise more rhythmically inclined aural experience. Standout 4/4 cuts like "Sailor's Cry," "Hidden Sun," and "Crystal Fountain" feature achingly beautiful vocal textures, if not full verses and choral sections. Worthy of special note, Canadian singer-songwriter Brandon Mignacca delivers an extraordinary lyrical and vocal performance on "Fell Out Of Love," a deep-tinged ballad.

It is our great joy to present Shingo Nakamura & Max Flyant's "Only Silk 03", the third edition in the annual compilation series, inspired by the acclaimed Frisky Radio show of the same name. A two-part compilation of 26 progressive house, trance, deep house and chillout cuts, written by a variety of celebrated international artists, "Only Silk 03" showcases the "classic" progressive style of Silk Digital on Shingo Nakamura's mix, as well as the signature deep house vibe of affiliate division Silk Textures on Max Flyant's opening mix. Silk Digital and Silk Textures label manager, as well as "Only Silk" radio show co-host, Max Flyant is thrilled to join Shingo as co-presenter of this year's compilation for the first time.

Japanese sensation Shingo Nakamura is one of progressive's most beloved talents and has contributed more tracks to Silk in our label's history than any other artist. With several artists albums, countless top-charting singles, and international DJ events to his name, not to mention consistent radio support by many of the world's leading house, progressive, and trance DJ's over the last few years, Shingo continues to find inspiration as an artist, never failing to captivate audiences with his exceedingly emotive and visionary compositions. Leading, as usual, by example, Shingo features a brand new track of his own on Only Silk 03, "Tribute, Chapter II", as well as a previously unreleased remix by SineRider of one of his most famous compositions, "Hakodate". Vintage & Morelli and Arielle Maren grace us with "Breathe," the third and final pre-album single, ahead of Vintage & Morelli's "Hymn To The Night" album release. The pair have never been short on musical chemistry, and "Breathe" proves to be another memorable addition to their extraordinary list of collaborative works.
A sturdy uptempo groove sets the arrangement off on a strong foot, as Vintage & Morelli crafts a foreboding soundscape through the use of darker instrumental motifs. The first line of Arielle's opening verse, "Within this world of mystical wonder," further enhances the moody, almost haunted aura of the arrangement, symbolizing the dark cloud of anger that often overtakes us all. In the main breakdown, Arielle delivers the titular hook: "Just breathe / Let it in / Just breathe / Let it out / Just breathe / Feel the rage dissipate." It's a wonderful reminder that we have more control over our own mental states than we often recognize, if only through the restorative power of breathing. The stormy, exhilarating drop to follow, with Arielle's breathing effects in the background, proves cathartic for the song's central protagonist and listeners alike.

Koda from the US is an exciting new addition to Silk Sofa. On SoundCloud, he has gathered over 3,500 followers, and his music is heavily supported on various YouTube channels. Silk Sofa is proud to present his new 4-track EP entitled "Myrina".

"Mikis" begins with a truly hypnotizing atmosphere, created by a vast array of different pad lines. Later, a gorgeous male vocal enters the mix, as well as a lovely, supporting breakbeat. Beautiful "oriental" synths emerge later, providing great additional texture.

The second song is "Labyrinth", which starts off with lush bell melodies that have been arranged in numerous layers. Koda again spices up the mix with his unique vocal, as well as smooth percussion elements and tranquil background piano melodies.

"Hands" introduces beautiful piano melodies, surrounded by soothing pad layers. Additional melodies emerge later, as well as comforting percussion elements. The main vocal is introduced soon thereafter, accompanied by stunning synth additions.

The last track is "Limnos", which starts off with translucent textures and a great, deep bassline. As usual, phenomenal percussion lines are added, and later, Koda once again blesses us with a mesmerizing vocal.
