or Arrival's 68th single release we are proud to present a collaboration between LTN (Indonesia) and Jayeson Andel (Canada). On numerous occasions over the past year, these artists have presented both brilliant and inspiring sounds to our label family, and their new work, "Clockwork", captures the essence of their great production skills.

Jayeson Andel's 'Steampunk' version starts off with a club-friendly beat, as well as a truly energetic bassline. Various soothing pads are showcased in the main break, in which we also witness a hint of the theme lead to come. The subsequent section features this lead in hypnotic unison with the pumping and well-structured rhythm. LTN's version takes off with a captivating groove, including frisky percussion lines and a soothing bassline. Gorgeous harmonic elements appear in the break, and these elements brilliantly blend into the already well-textured soundscape.

Sound Quelle, the versatile and exceedingly gifted Russian veteran, returns to our label for the second time in 2018 with the elegant 6-track EP "Ethereal." Sound Quelle, one of the most prolific and decorated contributors to our label, treats us to "Iridescent," his transcendent debut artist album. An artist whose compositional gifts traverse the electronic dance music spectrum, he is perhaps best known for his trance & progressive works, thanks to consistent radio support from Armin van Buuren and Above & Beyond in recent years. Yet, on our label, the Russian phenom has carved his niche exploring deeper sonic terrain, and it is from that wellspring that his new "Iridescent" LP has blossomed.

Consisting of a dozen mesmerizing tunes, the album evinces a strong world music influence, as the various deep and progressive-flavored cuts are imbued with hints of the exotic, including the frequent use of quasi-ethnic motifs. The album also showcases two new collaborations with Canadian singer-songwriter and recent muse Brandon Mignacca, whose achingly beautiful vocal stylings perfectly complement Sound Quelle's poignant instrumental themes. Sound Quelle's penchant for the cinematic can be experienced vis-à-vis the album's opening and concluding cuts, which again demonstrate his remarkable range.

Thus, it is our enormous honor to present "Iridescent," a full listen of which leaves the listener with a palpable sense of spiritual awe.

August 2008 witnessed the very first release on Silk Sofa. Over the past 7 years, the label has showcased a vast array of downtempo, chillout, and ambient releases. In celebration of Silk Sofa's 100th single release, artists of previous full-length albums on the label were invited to do a rework of one of the tracks from their album. Representing five different artist albums, this release features song reworks from four artists: Puremusic, City Lies, Biologik, and Jani R.

Having previously appeared on Silk Sofa with two artist albums, Latvian producer Puremusic treats us to two entries on this release. The first rework is based on "Take A Seat And Relax", taken from "Purity" from 2013. Puremusic has added a number of brilliant new percussion elements, as well as outstanding and goosebumps-inducing melodies.

In 2014, Canadian artist City Lies showcased his album "Full Ambient" on Silk Sofa. As the title suggests, this album is a wonderful journey through amazing ambient soundscapes and textures. City Lies has reworked "Moonshine Blues" from his album. The reworked version takes the listener through haunting and cinematic atmospheres, unmistakably justifying the original album title.

Puremusic's second entry is a rework of "Stars" from his 2014 album "The Music & The Universe". The track is an inspiring and delicious tale: countless melodies and a soft, yet prominent bassline unite beautifully, generating a truly captivating soundscape and delightful listening experience.

"Dreamcatcher" was the title of Canadian artist Biologik's artist album from 2014. The 2015 rework of "Building Snowmen" quickly establishes a unique and hypnotizing atmosphere with multiple percussion stems and lush pad lines. The well-structured breakbeat flawlessly provides a rich foundation for the heavenly melodic layers.

Finnish artist Jani R gave us his artist album "Fragile", also from 2014. The 2015 version of "Sunspin" immediately captures the listener: subtle yet intriguing melodies form a beautiful soundscape, while soothing pad layers emerge underneath. Summarizing what Silk Sofa is all about, this song acts as a brilliant outro to this 100th single release on the label.

Nearly three years since the release of his last LP, virtuosic Russian trance & progressive composer Gregory Esayan graces us with his third full-length album, "My Guiding Star." The title reflects his celestially inspired creative process, but it is also employed as a metaphor for love: Gregory pays tribute to his wife and personal 'guiding star,' Anaida, as evidenced by the sentimental hues that permeate all twelve album cuts. From the world music-influenced progressive gem "Cradle" to the astronomically propelled "Myriad," Gregory once again offers a mesmerizing aural journey, with each "chapter" touching upon a different shade of electronic music, conveying a unique narrative tale, and, above all, reflecting the boundless inspirational power of love.

Veteran Ukrainian artist meHiLove (a.k.a. Yuriy Mikhailov) returns to Arrival with his new "Sunrise" EP, including two delicate progressive cuts. The title track starts out with a comforting atmosphere and enjoyable percussion elements. Subtle string melodies soar in the background, while a delightful arpeggio line provides additional texture. An intriguing piano melody appears in the break, and a refreshing guitar riff spices up the mix later. "Sunset" quickly establishes a unique soundscape with haunting pad layers and female vocal stems. The break once again showcases a beautiful piano line, seamlessly integrated into the combination of the soothing percussion and background arpeggio notes.
