By finding solace in Finnish solitude Etherwood has undoubtedly created his finest body of work. Featuring singles ‘Fire Lit Sky’ and ‘Bear’s Breeches’, the album is a pensive and raw tale filled with honest lyrics and moving music. Title track ‘In Stillness’ sets the tone, walking a blissful line of Etherwood’s own vocal stylings and angelic melodies. ‘Climbing’ is a further homage to his forte as both a songwriter and producer where atmospheric amens twinned with soaring pads bring an elegance that few other can master.

‘Lay Your Armour Down’ is a stunning sensation of vocal chops and distinguished breakbeat as well as ‘Frozen Grass’, that brings a wave of warmth with gentle keys and soothing songwriting.

The tranquil and mysterious Finnish wilderness coupled with total isolation fuelled his inspiration. It was through this detachment that he was truly free to pursue his art in the purest form. As is portrayed through the words of Etherwood’s favourite scholar Arthur Schopenhauer.

Following from his highly acclaimed debut album “Life Cycle”, Keeno puts forward his latest cinematic masterpiece on Med School with the “Preludes” EP. A stunning reminder of Keeno’s ability to infuse classically trained skill with modern day production, resulting in a four-track collection of uncompromised elegance - a must-have in any liquid drum and bass collection.

Alongside fellow Med School classmate Whiney, Keeno has created a welcomed escape from a landscape of noise with “Dignity Found”. Opening with a gentle intermittence of percussions, high-pitched string sections and expert intertwining of blissful melodies before dropping into a call and response of anthemic vocal echoes and euphoric, electric guitar.

Fulfilling Keeno’s reputation for soothing the soul of drum and bass, the up-tempo drums and hypnotic, male-led vocal of “One More Moment” provides four minutes of effortless listening. “Origin” delivers a delicate balance of prominent piano chords and enrapturing bass lines, whilst like a wave of silver shadow “The Moon Under the Water” provides the epitome of refined, liquid luxury.

Since hitting Med School’s radar in 2013, there’s been no shortage of support for young Will Keen already with three well-deserved award nominations, most prolifically ‘Best Album’ at the 2013 Drum & Bass Arena Awards.

With all four tracks fitting together like a perfectly completed puzzle, this EP is sure to draw in a new surge of devoted listeners, all the while ensuring guaranteed satisfaction for any preceding Keeno fan. Med School’s master of melodic drum & bass bliss, Etherwood returns with his 6-track release ‘Lost In The Right Direction’. Since his third album ‘In Stillness’ Etherwood has been travelling through western Europe in his converted camper, breathing in the inspiration that the French hills of Munster and German hikes through Tennenloher Forest have to offer. Alongside his own vocal performance he’s brought in the talents of New Zealand’s singer/songwriter Thomas Oliver, as well as Brighton-based Phoebe Freya.

As an alchemist of atmospherics, Etherwood has introduced a blissful collaboration with Hospital family favourite, Thomas Oliver on ‘See The Sky’. His soaring high notes across Etherwood’s serene beats and moving riffs drive through for a powerful, heart-wrenching drum & bass ballad.

‘Clouds’ is a treat for the senses from start to finish, shimmering D+B soul comes equipped with a moving vocal lead from Phoebe Freya, gentle keys and gorgeous guitar solos. Plus, Etherwood brings through his warm vocal tones on ‘Driving Out’ and ‘The Night’, the latter steering into down-tempo trip-hop territory.

In this sonic re-imagining of his travels and experiences throughout the world are the hypnotic liquid instrumentals ‘Lulerain’, packed with accents of east-asian instrumentation, and ‘Away From It All’, that calls back to Etherwood’s signature sound.

Keeno’s back with a grand gesture. Succeeding his outstanding debut album, “Life Cycle”, the “Futurist” LP soars through sixteen tracks with boundless finesse.

Keeno thrives with his cinematic and orchestral offshoots of drum & bass, silken smooth soundscapes and deep weighty bass.

Opening track “Faithless” sets the scene with elegant and epic string sections jumping into a playful arrangement. With serious drum-work in place vocal talents Oscar Corney, MC Fava and Alice Gasson bring tracks “Lifeline”, “Perspective” and “A Breath” to life with tight harmonies and rich, velvet tones. Keeno hasn’t held back in “Dream Sequence”, “At Twilight” and “Futurism” with majestic grandeur travelling seamlessly through star-lit journeys of sound and space.

The growth and musical virtuosity of this young talent has flourished since signing to Med School back in 2013. By uniting his high-end production skills and classical training in a multitude of instruments Keeno has quenched the thirst of drum & bass lovers across the globe.

Last year Keeno took a leap of faith, deciding to leave his full time education behind to set his sights on what is sure to be a long career ahead in music. It’s abundantly clear this was the right choice - “Futurist” embodies everything we’ve come to expect from this exceptionally talented young producer.

Ukrainian six-piece ,The Erised, unveil their first EP, due for release early 2015, via forward-thinking, South London based label Med School.

The band creates elegant electronic timbres led by frontwoman Sonya Sukorukova, whose sublime vocals drive her own pop-oriented solo project Sonya and here deliver the emotive narrative of the music in powerful and absorbing fashion. The band also features two Med School favourites; Detail and Hidden Element, who have both previously featured in the label’s renowned ‘New Blood’ compilations.

The EP marks an important moment for both the band and the label; for The Erised, this debut release showcases an evolving journey of 6 young musicians, combining a myriad of influences to create a stunning 4 track EP - and for Med School, an exciting addition to the ever growing roster and a step into new musical territory at the start of 2015.

The second single from Etherwood’s highly anticipated third album is here. ‘Bear’s Breeches’, featuring fellow Med School craftsmen Anile is a harmonious fusion between Etherwood’s deep and pensive qualities and Anile’s rumbling textures. This is drum & bass at its most exquisite.

A melodic introduction is met with dark undertones and sub-zero frequencies - an idyllic homage to the dynamic capabilities of both artists. This minimal yet intelligent composition sees a song glistening with sonic flair, but one that would cut through a system like the spring sun on the Finnish glaciers.

Whiney’s underground drum & bass flare has flourished since signing exclusively to Med School. Now he’s set and ready to present his incredible debut album ‘Talisman’ - a symbol of his dedication to D+B with a strong 12-track collection of dancefloor weapons.

The hard-hitting album opener ‘Talisman’ sets the pace with epic musicality, industrial bleeps and fat, meaty basslines. Matching up with the heavyweight business are ‘Archive’ and ‘Rock Hopper’. Plus ‘Minds Collide’ can’t be missed – a middle-eastern influenced half-time stepper that matches up with the exuding attitude of ‘Portal’ that's already received support from neuro giants Noisia.

Whiney’s joined forces with Hospital’s Brazilian mastermind on ‘Sun Kissed’, balancing choppy vocal snippets with Urbandawn’s signature percussions and growling subs. Turning to melancholic movements is ‘The Farthest Shore’ and ‘Never Too Long’ the latter a collaboration with long-term label mate Keeno and lead by a strong vocal topline from Whiney himself. A final collaborative effort comes from Med School’s resident MC Inja who’s brought his lyrical genius to Whiney’s deep roller ‘Flashlight’.

Almost two years on from his incredibly well-received debut album and Etherwood is back with the highly anticipated, “Blue Leaves” LP, a body of work showcasing the sheer talent of one of the UK’s most exciting artists in electronic music. Within this fourteen-track LP, Etherwood has not only displayed his perfected production skills but also outshone more than ever before with his own vocal performances and instrumental prowess.

Captivating listeners with his creativity, Etherwood explores the finer soundscapes of drum & bass, relaying the liquid beauty that his continually growing following have come to love him for. Included are the already popular 2015 releases, “You’ll Always Be a Part of Me”, “Souvenirs” featuring Zara Kershaw and most recent single, “Light My Way Home” featuring Eva Lazarus, premiered by BBC Radio 1’s Annie Mac. Within fourteen tracks, not one is undeserving of its place on what is a truly outstanding album.

Enriched with sublime symphonic sounds, “For A Time I Was You” and “Cast Away” drift through epic elevations and enrapturing orchestral outbreaks that will undoubtedly stop all in their tracks. Almost two years on from his incredibly well-received debut album and Etherwood is back with the highly anticipated, “Blue Leaves” LP, a body of work showcasing the sheer talent of one of the UK’s most exciting artists in electronic music. Within this fourteen-track LP, Etherwood has not only displayed his perfected production skills but also outshone more than ever before with his own vocal performances and instrumental prowess.

Captivating listeners with his creativity, Etherwood explores the finer soundscapes of drum & bass, relaying the liquid beauty that his continually growing following have come to love him for.
