AZURE RAY ( www.azureraymusic.com/ )
Azure Ray is an American indie duo, consisting of musicians Maria Taylor and Orenda Fink. Azure Ray started in Athens, Georgia, in 2001 and later relocated to Omaha, Nebraska and joined the music scene there, leading to collaborations with Bright Eyes and Now It's Overhead, among others. Their sound is sparse and understated, with intimate lyrics, elements of alt-country and folk Americana, and occasional forays into minimalist electronica.
Azure Ray disbanded in 2004 and Maria and Orenda have released solo albums on Saddle Creek Records.
Azure Ray reunited in 2009 after a hiatus of more than five years and began touring again with other Saddle Creek artists as supporting members, notably Andy LeMaster of Now It's Overhead.
The duo released their new full-length album "Drawing Down the Moon" in the fall of 2010.

Keep Shelly in Athens are an electronic / downtempo ambient balearic band from Athens, Greece.
BLACKBIRD BLACKBIRD ( blackbirdblackbird.com/ )
Blackbird Blackbird (formerly Bye Bye Blackbird) is the moniker/musical outlet of San Francisco, California wunderkind Mikey Maramag. His reverb-laden musical collages tend to lean towards anthemic, inspirational, and dream-driven themes. Maramag's influences range from various ends of the musical spectrum. Blackbird Blackbird often tweaks nature-samples and mixes electronic textures with organic instrumentation (guitar, drums, synths, vocal-harmonies). Ghostly female vocals are chopped and screwed, spun around a paint-splattered collage of sound.
Maramag's deep, textured, and hypnotic pop songs pay homage to the psychedelic pop that the Beatles could have imagined but cannot make today. Blackbird Blackbird's music is made with the warmth of analogue instrumentation spliced with digital bells and twinkles.

VOLOR FLEX ( http://www.facebook.com/volor.flex )
Volor Flex is Alexander Frolov from Russia..
A lot of things have been said about Volor Flex, the young Russian producer whose music feels and acts like both a tribute and, at times, a cover of this mysterious iconic musician called Burial whom you might've heard of on previous occasions.
Some people think "this sounds too much like the original, we don't need copycats" while others went as far as calling it "Burial v2".
To each his own - the music is shamless, catchy and most importantly, freely available. Have a go at it, leave all bias aside and take it in for how it sounds rather than what it stands for, you'll probably find yourself enjoying it

THE DRUMS ( thedrums.com/ )
Jonathan Pierce and Jacob Graham met at summer camp when they were children and have been best friends ever since. Soon after their initial meeting, they formed Goat Explosion and toured extensively in North America during their teenage years. Around 2003, Jonathan and Adam Kessler formed Elkland. In the meantime, Jacob formed a band called HORSE SHOES (Shelflife Records). Jonathan ultimately decided to take a few years off from writing music after becoming disillusioned with the music business and parted ways with Elkland in 2005.
Jacob and Jonathan started a band. The Drums were formed in late 2006. Relocating to New York, The Drums added former Elkland guitarist Adam Kessler on second guitar and NYC born drummer Connor Hanwick (formerly of lo-fi teen pop duo Cape Of No Hope) to the line up and set up a month long residency at a small club on the lower east side of Manhattan.
As of September 2010, guitarist Adam Kessler has left the band.

MATTHEW DEAR ( http://www.matthewdear.com/ )
Depending on whom you ask, Matthew Dear is a DJ, a dance-music producer, an experimental pop artist, a bandleader. He co-founded both Ghostly International and its dancefloor offshoot, Spectral Sound. He's had remixes commissioned by The xx, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Spoon, Hot Chip, The Postal Service and The Chemical Brothers; he's made mixes for the Fabric mix series and Get Physical's Body Language. He maintains four aliases (Audion, False, Jabberjaw, and Matthew Dear), each with its own style and distinct visual identity. He straddles multiple musical worlds and belongs to none — and he's just hitting his stride.
Matthew Dear's 2003 full-length Ghostly debut, "Leave Luck to Heaven", is a suite of sparse, wickedly funky house laced with Dear's deep, distinctive vocals, and includes the much-loved single "Dog Days" (voted one of Pitchfork's Top 100 Songs of the decade). The record was met with rapturous acclaim from both the dance-music establishment and the critical press, including a four-star review in Rolling Stone. Dear's 2007 follow-up, "Asa Breed", is a considerable departure from Heaven's dancefloor excursions, incorporating the polyrhythms of afrobeat, the irreverent pop sensibilities of Brian Eno, and the austere beauty of krautrock. More four-stars reviews followed (Q and Mojo magazines), and Dear subsequently began touring with a live three-piece band, Matthew Dear's Big Hands, in which he acted as frontman, commanding the stage with a Bryan Ferry-like swagger and a gentleman's grace.
Today, Matthew Dear finds himself in a unique position. His highly anticipated fourth album, 2010's Black City, is the culmination of years of hard work and experimentation, a darkly playful sound-world that envelops the listener like the arms of a malevolent lover. After over a decade of exploring pop's outer limits, Matthew Dear now inhabits a rarefied corner of the musical universe: no longer tethered to any one genre, respected by his peers, and blessed with a bottomless well of creative energy. Now is Matthew Dear's moment, and it sounds like nothing else.

FELDBERG ( http://www.myspace.com/feldbergmusic )
Feldberg was formed in January 2009 by Eberg (Einar Tönsberg) and Rósa Birgitta Ísfeld. Eberg had been working on some syncs and was looking for a female vocalist. Rósa Birgitta Ísfeld was recommended by a friend and as soon as they had recorded their first thing they both knew they would have to keep on working together. They decided to meet every Tuesday night for a couple of months and put some songs together. One of their songs was used for an ad for Nova Telecom Company and soon the pressure to release the song as a single became enormous. Cod Music contacted them and offered to release their music in Iceland. "Don't Be A Stranger" became an instant radio hit and was released on a couple of compilation albums.
Feldberg has now finished recording their first album. It will be released in Iceland in October 2009 by Cod Music.

HOME VIDEO (http://www.homevideo.fm/)
Home Video are Collin Ruffino and David Gross, transplants from the misunderstood landscape of New Orleans, now living in the brooding brownstones of Brooklyn, New York. Here they revel in a self-created world of references to Edward Gorey, Massive Attack, The Brothers Quay, Smashing Pumpkins, and a dusting of Chopin, references that they have been collecting for nearly ten years.
They connected in high school art class in 1997. Under the instruction of an eccentric painter, who claimed to have been raised in a Louisiana chateau where servants peeled grapes for him to eat, they spent hours drawing still lives of twisted vegetables and rendering the chiaroscuro of adolescent self portraits. Outside of art class, they made a short narrative video starring David, and directed by Collin, a collaborative set up that continues still and perhaps an influence for their band name.
At the time Collin wore all black, listened to Nine Inch Nails and Smashing Pumpkins, and was in a band called The Great and Secret Show. David, a classical pianist in training and the son of two classical musicians, had been sheltered from the Top 40, or anything composed after 1900. It wasn't until Collin played him a cassette tape of The Great and Secret Show that David realized pop music had the potential to be as emotionally impacting as classical. Collin continued pulling him into the 20th century, introducing him to albums like Mezzanine, Dummy, and OK Computer. David started playing keyboards for the band.
College scattered the members of the Great and Secret Show, David in Boston studying music and philosophy, Collin in New York studying film, but they remained in touch and created music together during summer breaks. Once the distraction of higher education was out of the way, they reconvened with New York as home and soon discovered a new sound as their latest incarnation, Home Video. The first Home Video song came to them in the dead of winter, the blizzard of 2003. As the piling snow erased the landscape outside his window, David huddled over the warm vibrations of an analog synthesizer creating the simple loop that first inspired their minimalist sound. The fear and anxiety of New York's atmosphere at the time had eaten its way onto the pages of Collin's tattered notebooks and became their confessional style of lyrics. Underlined by a thumping, bass-rich beat, the pairing of the two worked well and the song evolved into "Melon," the first Home Video song created and the closing track on the album. Inspired by their new philosophy, other songs quickly followed and the band sent out demos.
Originally discovered by Warp Records, the label released Home Video's first two EPs in 2004, both packaged in sleeves illustrated by Collin's dark, Gorey-esque drawings. "That You Might", a 10" single, immediately picked up considerable attention in Britain from BBC Radio 1 and the NME, while the five song Citizen EP earned the band a feature in Rolling Stone. In 2006, New York based Defend Music released their debut full length, No Certain Night Or Morning. Grammy-nominated DJ Sasha picked two of the songs from this album to remix for his most recent release, Involver 2, which also included songs from Thom Yorke, Ladytron, M83, and Apparat. Home Video themselves have recently taken to the role of remixer, reworking songs for bands like Bear in Heaven, Wave Machines, Faunts, Bang Gang, and friends Naked Hearts.
As electronic-rock producers and performers, they record everything themselves, then adapt it live into a full on rock show with live drums and hypnotic visual projections. After sharing a bill in London at the start of Home Video's first European tour, Blonde Redhead were so impressed that they invited the band to support them for three weeks of shows in North America. Since then they have opened for such diverse acts as Justice, Yeasayer, Flying Lotus, Pinback, DJ Krush, Colder, and Radio 4. Taking advantage of Ruffino's film education, the band has also made several of their own music videos. The band's video for "I Can Make You Feel It" premiered on MTV2's Subterranean, and had over 200,000 views after being featured for a week on the front page of YouTube.com.
With their new album, The Automatic Process, the band layers samples, synthesizers, piano, guitar, and live drums to build an electro-tinted minimalist rock that drives steadily towards the sublime — a spacious soundtrack evocative of a fractured dream.

Summer of Haze whose name is similiar to Summer Haze, a pretty famous pornographic actress and by the way a professional wrestler, attracts audiophiles' attention with unique and modern sound over the great bassline. Surprisingly warm and hypnagogic, first three songs dropped last year for free -- the first public work of the talented guy behind Summer of Haze -- already were stuck on repeat in players.
Then were two EPs -- self-released «Hazy Memories EP» and later in December «I▼You EP», which includes unforgettable single «I▼You» that you can find on the debut album of Summer of Haze -- «Come With Me, Hail Mary», released by ODDOT in January 2012.

Klute is the primary recording alias of Tom Withers, the respected drum and bass Producer and DJ from London, UK.
He is also the drummer, vocalist and songwriter in the English Hardcore band The Stupids and first turned to electronic production in the early 1990s, experimenting with techno before turning to Drum and Bass. He released two 12" under the Override alias in 1995-96, as well as appearing on Ninja Tune compilations. In 1998 the debut Klute LP Casual Bodies was released on the seminal Certificate 18 imprint; Fear of People followed in 2000.
In 2001 he established the label Commercial Suicide. This released his own material, including the albums Lie, Cheat & Steal (2003), No One's Listening Anymore (2005) The Emperor's New Clothes (2007) and most recently Music for prophet (2010) . All of these albums are double CDs with one drum and bass CD and another of downtempo techno and breakbeat, and received widespread acclaim in the electronic music community. MAX COOPER ( http://www.maxcooper.net/ )
Max Cooper is a London based musician and geneticist primarily releasing on Traum Schallplatten. The combination of his scientific and musical influences are evident in Max's turntablist DJ sets, technical production style and abstract research topics. Max Cooper's sound ranges from stark electronica remixes of huge bands like Hot Chip and Au Revoir Simone to the fuzzy, buzzing dancefloor sound of his breakthrough "Serie" releases. But it's all, he says, inspired by his need to "match the emotions in the head with the emotion that can come out of the monitors".
