KEEP SHELLY IN ATHENS ( http://keepshellyinathens.blogspot.com/ )
Keep Shelly in Athens are an electronic / downtempo ambient balearic band from Athens, Greece.
Hailing from Greece's capital, the duo 'Keep Shelly In Athens' have been the toast of the blog world for a while now, and their first EP for Planet Mu is in keeping with a consistent level of odd synth-pop that the label has released this year from Tropics to Vezelay, Heterotic to Solar Bears.
With several releases under their belt they first came to our attention with their remix of Solar Bears 'Cub', an awesome re-imagining of the track from the boys debut album. The remix is a monumental slice of cold but blissful synth pop, with stadium-sized reverbs and punched-in repetitive vocals over rumbling guitars and punchy drums.
'The Chains' has all the off-key atmosphere of an Italian horror film soundtrack with the band's female singer intoning a melody that could come from a 'Violator' era Depeche Mode song. The whole song breaks down towards the end into an intense finale.
Title track 'Campus Martius' has a giant humming bassline, with electronic drums scratching away like insects flying at windows, as a gentle piano line ripples over the top painting a feeling of airy pleasure while vocal samples drop a melody at altered pitches. A scene of tentative bliss.
Finally, 'Struggle With Yourself' pits Sarah's raw singing over a weird acidic bassline that could easily sound at home on a Coil record along with loose guitar strums, before the track breaks into light spoken word and angelic vocals, finishing off as it started, but with a stark warning.

These Two Dublin based producers (Paudie Bob and Kevin Gleeson) of ambient dark Garage and Dubstep definitely know how the world looks like from the doubledecker night bus after a saturday party...
Let me quote Burial how I feel about nights..The guy found the right words for it :
"When I'm awake all night,
sometimes I see the people and the city waking up around me.
I feel a little bit moody at them for stepping into my night-time.
What I want is that feeling when you're in the rain,
or a storm. It's a shiver at the edge of your mind,
an atmosphere of hearing a sad, distant sound,
but it seems closer - like it's just for you.
Like hearing rain or a whale-song,
a cry in the dark, the far cry."

Eli & Fur - My Shadow (Official Audio)
Buy/Stream Link: https://EliandFur.lnk.to/MyShadow
Release Date: 15th March 2022
----
London via LA dance duo Eli & Fur have unveiled their new single ‘My Shadow’, out 15th March, on Positiva Records.
Speaking about the track, Eli & Fur explain: "To us, 'My Shadow' is about losing yourself, being ok on your own and the freedom of the dance floor.”
----
VERSE ONE
We don’t need to hide it anymore
We’ve said it all
More than enough
Looking at the writings on the wall
We came so close
But you let me fall
PRE
The white lies
What goes around, comes back around
I hope you know this
It takes time
And I’ve down da down
But I ain’t giving up
CHORUS
And I’ve been leaving teardrops on the floor
My heart breaks through the silence it goes
Da da da da da
But I just keep dancing with my shadow
VERSE TWO
Glitter in my eyes and round the room
Caught in the dark
When I think of you
Hard cause you were everything I knew
But people change
They always do
PRE
The white lies
What goes around, comes back around
I hope you know this
It takes time
And I’ve down da down
But I ain’t giving up
CHORUS
And I’ve been leaving teardrops on the floor
My heart breaks through the silence it goes
Da da da da da
But I just keep dancing with my shadow

Melodic, liquid drum & bass with new vocalist, irosa.
Lyrics:
It comes, it goes, her powers seem to rise
above the sky, her heart begins to cry.
Am I enough to save my people,
is my skin thick enough to fight the evil, oh.
Writing down the spell she wrote.
Pray to God I'm the unsung hero.
I wonder if I can die,
Or will I be to decide, forever.
*spoken*
Listen, as the blossoms of time corrode,
your mind starts to weep in sorrow.
But you are not alone,
I will always be with you, child.
You are the chosen one.
But I'm scared, all I see is black and white.
I don't see the colour in the sky,
The flowers I hold close to me.
But I see the light deep inside,
It's coming for me.
It's me.

It's been so long since I created glitch hop, what better way to return than with Danyka Nadeau on vocals.
Label: Monstercat
Release Date: 24th April 2018
Lyrics:
Send my heart into the sound,
slowly drifting into your arms.
It blows away in new directions,
it's your turn to know something that is real.
The milky way I feel your splendour,
you're the weakness that I've found.
It melts away into forever,
lesson learned and I know that it was real.
