Theophilus London is a Brooklyn, USA based hip hop artist with heavy electro influences.
London released his debut mixtape JAM! in 2008. In 2009 he collaborated with Machine Drum for his second mixtape This Charming Mixtape which brought London to a wider audience. In 2010 London released the mixtape I Want You which features covers of classic songs.
London's track Flying Overseas (featuring Devonté Hynes and Solange Knowles) enjoyed popularity with music bloggers in November 2010.
London found himself causing a stir with his performances at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival. The title of his debut album, Timez Are Weird These Days is a reference to the tidal wave of fame London found himself riding. (I Stand Alone Songfacts).

Dev Hynes (born 23 December 1985 in Houston, Texas), better known as Lightspeed Champion (or sometimes Blood Orange) is a British composer, songwriter, producer and author, who has written #1 records for artists such as Florence and the Machine, Diana Vickers and The Chemical Brothers on their 2007 Grammy award winning album We Are The Night. He is currently signed to Domino Records.[1]
Hynes was born in Houston, Texas but was raised in Essex, England from the age of 2. He was educated at the Chadwell Heath Foundation School, now known as Chadwell Heath Academy. He currently resides in New York. The name 'Lightspeed Champion' comes from a series of comic strips Hynes drew as a teenager in his school mathematics books.[2] Hynes was voted the 49th 'coolest person in rock' in NME's 2007 Cool List,[3] jumping to position 20 in the following year's list.[4] From their formation in 2004 until their break-up in 2006, Hynes was a member of the band Test Icicles, playing guitar, synth, and occasionally performing vocals. The band were known for their blisteringly crazy and diverse music and for their raucous live performances. They released only one full-length album (For Screening Purposes Only) in 2005.

Eliza Sophie Caird (born 15 April 1988), better known by her stage name Eliza Doolittle, is an English singer songwriter from London. She signed to the Parlophone record label in October 2008. Her debut, self-titled album, Eliza Doolittle was released on 12 July 2010. On debut it was number 3 in the UK charts. Since the album's release, Doolittle has had another two of her records hit the top 25 charts, including her single Skinny Genes. Doolittle's second single, Pack Up, has debuted in the Top 20 for the Single Top 100 and Irish Singles Charts, and in the Top 5 in the UK Singles Chart.
Before entering the charts, Doolittle toured the UK with her band to gain recognition. This later turned into the "Playground Unplugged" tour where she performed at secondary schools Hagley RC High School, The Magna Carta School, The Bewdley School and Sixth Form Centre, Highworth Grammar School and Presdales School.
The first release from Doolittle is a self-titled EP that features four tracks 'Rollerblades', 'Moneybox', 'Police Car' and 'Go Home'. This was released on 29 November 2009. Tracks from the EP were remixed by Plastic Little ('Rollerblades'), Sam Young and Jamie from The xx ('Money Box'). The EP received radio plays from Rob Da Bank, Nick Grimshaw, Fearne Cotton and Jo Whiley.
Her debut single "Skinny Genes" was released on 12 April 2010. The song had featured in a television advert for an online retailer. She told BBC's Steve Lamacq the song is "a funny scenario if you didn't like someone, if they were really annoying, but you had a good time under the sheets." Doolittle's second release is entitled "Pack Up" and released on 5 July 2010, debuting at #12 on the Official UK Singles Chart on 11 July 2010.
She recorded the song "Running For Life" which featured on the soundtrack to the film AdULTHOOD. Doolittle was a special guest on Paloma Faith's concert tour which began on 30 October 2010.

Jamie Smith (known by the stage name Jamie xx) is an English music producer and remix artist. He is a member of the London-based band The xx.
In 2007, Smith joined The xx accompanying old school friends Romy Madley Croft, Oliver Sim, Baria Qureshi from the Elliott School, notable for alumni including Hot Chip, Burial and Four Tet. The band's first album 'xx' was released in August 2009 and went on to become platinum in the UK.
Jamie went on to produce a series of remixes of songs by Gil Scott-Heron from his 2010 album I'm New Here. The first remix single 'NY Is Killing Me', credited to Gil Scott-Heron and Jamie xx, aired on radio stations across the UK and Europe in late 2010, followed by 'I'll Take Care Of U' in January 2011. Both singles drew a lot of attention by the public and critics and set the way for a 13-track remix album entitled 'We're New Here', out February 21, 2011 on the XL Recordings label and produced entirely by Jamie xx. 'We're New Here' received very positive critical acclaim and was named "a masterpiece in its own right" by BBC's Ele Beattie.
On June 6th, he released the single 'Far Nearer / Beat For', which was met with strong critical acclaim.

She is also known as a member of Goslab - a Georgian art laboratory. Tusia has worked with Nika Machaidze aka Nikakoi/erast, Thomas Brinkmann, Wechsel Garland and Post Industrial Boys, who have used Tusia's vocals and lyrics in most of their songs. Beridze embraces an eclectic mix of influences, including The Smiths, Lou Reed,David Bowie, Cocteau Twins, Bjork, Aphex Twin, Squarepusher, Stravinsky, Prokofiev, Shostakovich, , Autechre, Kraftwerk, Georgian folk music and much more.

Shoegaze/post-rock band from Bratislava, Slovakia:
The name was originally created as a joke involving a jam session from which a track was created. After that moment in september of 2008, it was a joke slowly transformed into a serious group effort. Growing together and discovering their own unique soundscape influenced by post-rock and shoegaze, they quickly garnered attention through several gigs in the Slovak and Czech scene and played at festivals like Creepy Teepee in Czech Republic or Wilsonic in Slovakia. Their first EP called We Love Silence, But Silence Is Awkward was released as a free download through slovak netlabel EXITlabel. After this release The Ills played their first slovak tour with band Čisté Tvary, shared stages with bands such as kolowrat, Moustache, Rosa Parks, Dawn To Come, Teapot and mainly, supported Trespassers William in Vienna, A Sunny Day in Glasgow in Košice or Stafrænn Hákon in Budapest.
To Wish Impossible Things, their debut album, also their first physical release, is called after The Cure song and combines shoegaze sound with post-rock aesthetic and emotions of live concerts. It consists of eight tunes, three of them appeared in different versions on their previous releases - We Love Silence, But Silence Is Awkward EP and Lost Trams EP. Also it's the first recording of The Ills from professional studio, even though it was mixed and mastered by their guitarist Martin Krajčír, also known as Isobutane.

Nick Brennan's musical history is long and varied - he studied piano from the age of 5, dabbled briefly with the trumpet for a year, and moved onto the guitar at the age of 12 which he studied profusely throughout his teens in both classical discipline and rock, blues and jazz improvisation.
Having spent the latter half of the eighties playing in everything from punk, rock and even blues and jazz bands, Nick discovered acid house music in 1989 when he started going to the now legendary DiY raves around Nottingham. Seduced by the hazy hedonism and good vibes of those early raves, he moved more and more away from his rock roots, abandoning his guitar for a pair of decks in 1992.
His interest in acid house and hardcore was counterbalanced with a new-found love for dub reggae and the psychedelic sound of the Ozric Tentacles, which became his everyday soundtrack for life in 1991-92. Moreover the early days of progressive house and the emerging Frankfurt trance scene had a profound effect on him and he became increasingly interested in production. Artists like Jam & Spoon, Sven Vath and particularly A.C. Boutsen (who released under a wide range of names including CygnusX and Brainchild for Eye Q and Harthouse), helped to cement his interest in trance music. As the scene and the music evolved and diversified Nick aligned himself firmly at the progressive end of the spectrum, where the sounds were deeper, more expansive and melodic and the production values were that bit more important.
He bought his first Juno 106 synth for £100 in 1996, and over the next few years he partied hard while developing his production skills and expanding his studio. In 1998 he went into business with close friend Dave Eserin, setting up Vivid Audio, a recording studio and rehearsal rooms in Kennington, South London. Here they taught themselves recording and production techniques recording demos for live bands, and Nick spent his spare time writing trance with a number of collaborators. He also put on a series of legendary 'Club Tiny' parties at the studio, which were host to an auspicious cross section of DJ's from the London scene.
In 2000 NZ DJ Pied Piper Paul , whom Nick was living with at the time, passed a CD of his early chillout experiments to Humphrey Bacchus , A&R for Liquid Sound Design, who immediately snapped up one of the tracks for his next LSD compilation, Mana Medicine. The compilation received rave reviews, and interest in Nick's music started to build. The next LSD compilation, 'Butterfly Dawn', included 2 Tripswitch tracks and was hailed as a downtempo classic. The track 'Silver' in particular received a great deal of positive press and the 2004 remix by dub maestro Ott went into the Top 30 reader's list of Russian music magazine PLAY. Recent releases have included a remix of Ott's 'Escape from Tulse Hell' on LSD's 'Wider Horizons' and an inclusion on the debut compilation of Italian label Neurobiotic 's new chill-out sister, Indica.
Nick's debut full length album, 'Circuit Breaker', was released in April 2005 and received widespread critical acclaim, with tracks being picked up by the likes of José Padilla and DJ Ravin (Buddha Bar) for forthcoming compilations. Since it's release Nick has been inundated with requests for new material, remix work and club and festival appearances. After in a busy summer in Europe, Nick has a tour of North America planned for October/November 05 with Bluetech.
Other forthcoming releases include a remix of a Suns Of Arqa track for the forthcoming LSD release 'Hallucinasia', two tracks co-written with Gaudi to be included on forthcoming Interchill and Liquid Records compilations, and a number of other compilation inclusions to be confirmed. And work is currently underway on an exclusive video production of a new track by video specialists Inside Us All in collaboration with legendary compositor and music video director Chris Cunningham...
In addition to his established chill-out activity, Nick is currently working on some progressive breaks which will see him tap into his darker side. He is also throwing around some breaks ideas via DSL with Seb Taylor (of Shakta/Digitalis/Angel Tears/Kaya Project fame), and will shortly be expanding his collaborations with Gaudi to produce a full length album.
