Starting off this liquid drum & bass mix with the title track from Twintone's new EP out now on Default Recordings, "Play By The Rules" leads the way with the remainder of the EP also featuring. Rolling into the beautiful "When" by Duoscience, out now on Diskool. AM94 has been in absolutely scintillating form recently, the brilliant "Beat Of My Heart" was released yesterday on Separate The Sound. This past Friday saw the wonderful "Heart Of Darkness" by Qumulus make it's way to us via DeVice, that features just after 6 minutes. Earlier in the week saw Famous Spear gift us the brilliant "Lost" which is currently available for free download, link for that below. On the topic of freebies, Qua Rush's "Without U" is a slice of rugged action to hallmark Qua Rush's debut on Engage Audio, the link for that one is also available below. The amazing "Odyssey" EP by Inversity is out now via DnB Database, all 3 tracks from that EP feature. The wicked "Give Me Love" by Champagne Breakfast is out now as part of an outstanding 4 track EP on Vihara. Sending love out to the man like Good Shepherd who makes an appearance with "Ways Of The Underground". A few older piece in here this week, Random Movement's "Purple Gateway" was a freebie back in 2011, and "Never Last" by Rift dropped on Differential back in December '20.

Starting off this liquid drum & bass mix with Low:r's brilliant double release out now on Future Retro, "All Of You" alongside Aleya Mae leads the way. Sliding into some forthcoming action from Aaron Static & Artsea, "These Streets" will hit the shelves this coming March 18th via OneSevenFour (alongside the brilliant "Lesser Kings" and "Looking Good"), in third spot is a brilliant tune by Skuff which is due to drop this coming Friday February 4th as part of Headbass, "Camp Fire Confessions" rolls in just before 4 minutes. The "Nothing Is Real" EP by Qumulus is due to drop on the 25th of February, both the title track and "We Who Are Not As Others" make an appearance in the mix. Arc Nade's brilliant "One Night" is out now as part of "The Last Samurai" EP. The absolutely brilliant "Abstract Spaces" LP by Marcus Tee is out now on Drumculture, "Across The Sea Of Light", "Second Thoughts" and "I Got U" from the LP all feature in the mix. Jazzatron's wicked remix of "D.U.E" by Nadya is out now on Jungle Tribe Recordings. A new release from Matt View alongside Marvel Cinema is out now on Galacy, "Recurring Image" features just before 29 minutes. The "Blunted" EP by River is out now on Incurzion Audio, the title track, "Disposable" and "Come Through" alongside Clü all feature in the mix. Luhcy's absolutely wicked bootleg of Vermont Kiss by Sōtaisei Riron is out now and available for free on Soundcloud, marking the only freebie featuring this week. "Rags and Iron" by Spatial is an absolutely wicked self release which dropped this past Friday 28th. A couple of older pieces in here this week, "Mvua" by the legendary K2T dropped back in the summer of 2019 on Detached Audio, "All In A Day" by Fearbace dropped on Bay 6 back in January 2018, and last but by no means least, this month marks 15 years since the release of the timeless "Eleventh Hour" LP by Mis:i:cal, the classic "Believe" alongside Robert Owens first hit our shelves back in mid February 2007.

► The Best of Mystical Sound - Liquid Drum & Bass Mix

A man who is no stranger to quality piano chords. Mystical Sound has been gracing our ears to some brilliant rhythms all throughout this year and last. Personally a huge fan of his work, his latest "Abandonment" EP is a fine reflection of what he's all about, with "Illusionize" and "Poetry" encapsulating his trademark sound within the liquid drum & bass realm, alongside "Gunman" which caters more towards the darker and more bass driven side of the genre. This mix starts off with a lot of his liquid masterpieces, taking a trip down that darker road I mentioned just now at around 40 minutes. With releases on Influenza, Celsius, C Recordings and Soul Deep to name a few, he currently has a forthcoming EP called "Frontline" which is available from December 4th, be sure to go check that out! From Tenerife, this is the best of Mystical Sound.

Next up is a man on fine form, "Compromise" by the brilliant Ben Rolo is out now as part of the Unsung Heroes compilation on Soul Deep. Senteirum's "Emerald" & "Århus" alongside Crimson, as well as "Beautiful" by Traxx Project from the same LP both also feature. HEFT recently made his debut over on Instinct Recordings in the form of a double release, "Tender Night" is up in fourth spot. This past Friday saw the release of the highly anticipated "Fluorescent" EP from Ben Rolo on Bay 6 Recordings, "Bleeding Gums Murphy" is up in sixth spot. Luciano's stunning "Voices In My Head" EP is out now on Celsius Recordings, "Moment To Myself" & the sensational "Feelings" both feature. The Foundations Vol. 3 LP is out now on Four Corners Music, "Patterns" by Subliminal & "Humans" by Maykors taken from that LP features just after 20 minutes. Elixr recently gifted us a wonderful bootleg of "My Love" by Route 94, that's available over on his SoundCloud, link for that below. Huge amount of love going out to Flicka on his debut 6 track EP called "En Route" which is out now on Detached Audio, "How Can I" alongside Chris B rolls in just after 35 minutes. "Go Along" is a belter taken from the "City Lights" LP by Cosmiz Sequence & Leniz which released on Soul Deep in 2018. This weeks liquid drum & bass mix kicks off with the brilliant "Sinner" by Revaux & Azlan, rolling alongside the outstanding "Changes" by the In:Form In:Most which switches up just after the 2 minute mark. Hoodleston released a new EP today, and the self titled track "Soul Feeling" rolls in just before 4 minutes. The ever elusive Dawn Wall also released the beastly "Twin Falls" EP a couple of days ago, I went ahead and threw every track in this mix, bar 1, "Mantis" slides in just after 5 and a half minutes, my pick of the EP "Holdin' On" features just after the quarter hour mark and "Twin Falls" makes an appearance just before 29 minutes. The mighty Command Strange also released a new EP on the same day, the self titled track "In Circles" features just before 19 minutes, and "This Night" is found right at the tail end of the mix. I've played a few tracks in the past by OW3S, and he's back again with "String For My Love" which is currently up for free download on his SoundCloud, definitely go check that out! It's been a while since Snoops made a liquid track, and he's also back with conviction, "Perfect Day" is completely free and can be found on his SoundCloud. Only one "older" track in here this week, "Shadow" by the brilliant Edlan & Emy Perez was part of the "Grids" EP released on Fokuz back in August 2016.

This weeks liquid drum & bass mix is full of absolute heavyweights. Starting off with the Pola & Bryson bootleg of "Close To You" by ARLE. Next up we have the absolutely sensational "Broken Element" by Modest Intentions. Mystical Sound has been on fire lately, and there's a piece of his called "She's Gone" which features right at the end of the mix. The only free track this mix has to offer features in the third spot, ALB delivering a brilliant remix of "Know You" by the legendary Bonobo. The elusive Mohican Sun's talents and expertise to deliver perfection every time show us yet another example of their godlike capabilities, "Fixation" (08:51) is an instant classic. Dvice One dropped a brilliant EP last month on Celsuis, the self titled "New Groove" (14:02), "Turning" (18:51) and "Before" (23:17) all feature at the timestamps to the right of each track title respectively. Nothing "old" as per se in this weeks mix, so straight to the tracklist it is;
