Lyrics for Paper Idol & ufo ufo - Hold My Breath
[Verse One]
Break down every single notion
We had poetry in motion
Take back every time we played for keeps
I wish I didn't notice
How much you could make me change my mind
(Unless you caught me on a good day)
But I'm not sure we'll ever get this right
Or if it's worth it
[Pre-Chorus]
I've been chasing you too long
(The ghost of your memory)
There's no place that we belong
[Chorus]
So I won't hold my breath
I won't hold my breath
I won't hold my breath
[Verse Two]
Break down every conversation we had
Lock them in the basement
Tears fall used to make me march in beat
Now I don't have the patience
I hear the song but the melody don't sound right
(Until you make another sound babe)
Wait for my confession I don't mind
But it's not worth it
[Pre-Chorus]
I've been chasing you too long
(The ghost of your memory)
There's no place that we belong
[Chorus]
So I won't hold my breath
I won't hold my breath
I won't hold my breath
[Breakdown]
Something's wrong
We thought we'd go about our business darling
I can slowly feel the tension building up behind our words
So if you decide you'd like to make things better
Then we'll fix it now or leave forever
Cause you always say that we can make this work
But I won't hold my breath
[Chorus]
So I won't hold my breath
I won't hold my breath
I won't hold my breath

? Lyrics: 4URA, DVRKCLOUD & Holly Terrens - Changing Skies
0:00 - Verse 1
[Verse 1: Holly Terrens]
Time flies waiting for the night sky
Not a caring insight
I never wanna leave you
Time flies now that you’re in my life
0:12 - Pre-Chorus
[Pre-Chorus: Holly Terrens]
If I could stay a thousand years
I’d still want one more day
Baby, it’s you that makes me feel this way
I’m starting to feel the changing skies, the colors turning grey
I know there can be no other way
0:37 - Chorus
[Chorus: Holly Terrens]
Time flies waiting for the sunrise
Holding you so tight, I never wanna leave you
Time flies now you’re in my life
So can we slow it down again and again, and again
I’m not sure when I (time flies waiting for the sunrise) ever want to go home
1:01 - Drop
[Drop]
1:27 - Pre-Chorus
[Pre-Chorus: Holly Terrens]
If I could stay a thousand years
I’d still want one more day
Oh, it’s you that makes me wanna stay
I’m starting to feel the changing skies, the colors turning grey
I know there can be no other way
1:52 - Chorus
[Chorus: Holly Terrens]
Time flies waiting for the sunrise
Holding you so tight, I never wanna leave you
Time flies now you’re in my life
So can we slow it down again and again, and again
I’m not sure when I (time flies waiting for the sunrise) ever want to go home

10/09/22 JUICE IRL event with GOLDIE, T.R.A.C., Winslow, Flaco, MC Questionmark, Definition Positive
Thank you to everyone who joined us Sunday October 9th for one of the most amazing shows we've ever hosted live and onstream!
After having to move our event from October 6th, we were completely touched and honored that Goldie was still able to make our show on the 9th. Completing an incredible night of music were sets from producers Winslow (MO) and T.R.A.C. (NYC/Toronto); Flaco (CA); MC Questionmark (OR/CA); and longest JUICE resident Definition Positive (OR). For all who were in attendance both live and onstream, you know this was a very special night unlike any other we've had. Many, many thanks to everyone who were able to change their plans to accommodate the new date: to the artists; to everyone who traveled long distances to attend (Twitch family!!!); to our entire JUICE crew; and especially to Goldie, for bringing unbelievable heat and emotion to our humble night—as well as allowing us to stream 30 minutes of his set. Huge thanks to Holocene Portland, for their exceptional work, staffing, sound, and effort put into this show...what an amazing venue! Special thanks out to Brett McConnell for crushing it with his lighting and laser show, and to tbone for managing the stream!
We will never forget this night.
JUICE resumed IRL shows quarterly in Portland in 2022, and has remained consistently active on Twitch for 2.5 years growing strong to near 6k followers and over 75k views—keeping the music fresh, and growing our feature and InBetween Session streams as a staple for listeners worldwide. This marked our 24th feature since May of 2020.
**Please mark your calendars for Friday March 24th, 2023 for our next IRL event at Holocene Portland, which will be our 18th Anniversary show!**
All of our feature livestream sessions from the last two years are posted here on youtube.com/juicedrumandbass
Since April of 2020, we’ve been donating from each event to important organizations fighting for racial justice, equality, and supporting music and the arts. We have given to 23 incredible nonprofit businesses!
This session we made a significant donation to the Portland Street Art Alliance (http://www.pdxstreetart.org) in memory of Goldie's father.
Want to donate and support JUICE?
Your donations also help JUICE to cover operating costs for livestreams, merchandise, and artist bookings.
Every little bit helps.
Donate via Paypal at: paypal.me/bassroutes.
You can also support JUICE directly by purchasing our dope gear from our website and store at www.juicedrumandbass.com/merch
New merch just dropped, grab some for the holidays!
Looking for more JUICE? Find our regular “InBetween Sessions” on Twitch from 7-11pm PST Tues/Thurs/Sun every single week with the JUICE crew and residents. We’ve already logged near 1500 hours streamed!
Thank you for the love since 2005 keeping deep soulful drum and bass alive and well in Oregon.

Rene LaVice
‘Far From Perfect’
Out Now
https://ramrecords.com/download/rammlp36d
Rene LaVice’s journey continues with his third LP on formative drum & bass imprint Ram Records, a label whose history spans across two decades. After being exclusively signed, following his pivotal ‘Headlock’ release, the Canadian stalwart has remained a centrepiece of Ram’s roster and his back catalogue is nothing short of groundbreaking. The same consistency has been administered to his forthcoming ‘Far From Perfect’ package, which builds on the foundations of both ‘Insidious’ and ‘Play with Fire’ to present another look into his versatile capabilities. It proves that alongside a plethora of taste-making records and the announcement of his BBC Radio 1 residency, Rene’s career has flourished, due to the creativity which streams through his music.
Having already teased ‘Far from Perfect’ through the high octane ‘Cold Crush’ ft. Gydra, his epic vocal slammer ‘Let you Go’ ft. Jareth, the emotive allure of Faye on ‘Twilight’ as well as the heavier hitting breakdowns of singles ‘Woohoo’, ‘Sound Barrier / Squeegee’ and ‘How Do I Kill’, his forthcoming album is once again set to defy expectations; Expectations which were already set dizzyingly high.
Still unheard is Rene’s second offering with Ivy Mairi ‘Every Time’, reminiscent of their previous collaboration ‘The Calling’ which saw them receive daytime airplay through Radio 1’s A list. Isaac Evans also joins the list of vocalists alongside Rene on ‘Can’t Get Enough’, with its subdued party vibe and familiar undertones. Tracks like ‘Slappo’ and ‘Detonate’ add a harder edge and together they encompass the vast musical spectrum Rene has at his fingertips.
From newcomer to genre icon, Rene LaVice has risen through the ranks and this is unsurprising after studying his back catalogue. And ‘Far From Perfect’ will add to this legacy, whilst also becoming a defining moment within Ram Records’ history.
