Loaded with 25 brand new tracks from the world of drum & bass, ranging from fresh original productions to exclusive new remixes and future classics from the Hospital Records family and some very special guests. The charismatic mic champion Degs and production powerhouse Unglued have teamed up on ‘Levitate Your Mind’ - stocked with feel-good vibrations, bouncing bass and soulful flows.
After the carnage caused by Kings Of The Rollers’ ‘You Got Me’ it's got an equally monstrous remix treatment from Brazillian mastermind S.P.Y. ‘Sick Music 2020’ also sees exclusive new remixes of house legends Todd Terry and Roberto Surace by Serum and Unglued.
R&B meets classical drum & bass in Keeno’s ‘I Wonder’ with its bittersweet soul and first-class string work, featuring the sublime vocal workings of Ellie Madison. Connoisseur of soulful D+B, Nu:Tone brings a timeless dose of classic liquid magic on ‘The Moment’ ft. Lea Lea.
Lyrical legends DRS & Dynamite are highly acclaimed throughout the world of D+B for their distinctive MC styles, and it’s an honour for Hospital Records to have their first official release as a duo on ‘Sick Music 2020’. ‘Fix It All’ is an all-star affair, featuring Hospital Records’ head honcho London Elektricity on production.

Camo & Krooked continue their reign of the global drum & bass landscape with their latest single ‘Loa’. They’ve returned to Hospital Records following the release of their latest LP on their own imprint Mosaik, and huge single ‘Atlas’ with UKF.
‘Loa’ is inspired by the roots of Haiti, this atmospheric yet crispy stepper has razor sharp production, bursting at the seams with a rich tapestry of Hatian vocals, layered with Camo & Krooked’s signature style. Chants are greeted by a modern D+B swing, celebrating all manner of forward-thinking approaches to D+B.
Camo & Krooked are two of Europe’s prime producers in dance music, with a back catalogue that boasts massive drum & bass anthems such as ‘Watch It Burn’, ‘Turn Up The Music’, and ‘Move Around’. Metrik’s highly anticipated second album ‘LIFE/THRILLS’ released on Hospital Records is an exhilarating and flawlessly executed evolution of his signature sound. Under the banner of drum & bass it draws on his love for film soundtracks, synthwave, neo-soul and the Japanese pop sub-genre, Shibuya-kei and includes collaborations with Elisabeth Troy, NAMGAWD, Roméo Testa, Ragga Twins, Rothwell and Reija Lee.
‘Electric Echo’, a collaboration with Fightstar’s Dan Haigh and Alex Westaway’s synthwave side project Gunship, encapsulates the ethos of the album merging the unfamiliar with D&B sensibilities to create a fresh and exciting new sound. We also welcome the return of Elisabeth Troy in 'Chasing Sunrise' and Reija Lee in 'Cadence' making for two powerful vocal highlights on the record. For those of a purist nature, fear not; Metrik’s sophomore album is one hundred percent drum & bass and he hasn’t forgotten about the dancefloor. Bangers like 'Western Jam', 'Fatso' and 'Destination Earth' make up a serious proportion of the album’s generous fifteen tracks and reinforce his status as one of the heaviest producers on the block.
Over the past year Metrik has travelled the world representing drum & bass at major festivals of all denominations; from Glastonbury and Global Gathering to Outlook and EDC Las Vegas. All the while crafting remixes for the likes of DJ Fresh, Ellie Goulding, Gorgon City and Martin Garrix, and collaborating with fellow D&B superstars TC and Netsky. Fans of his UK Dance Chart Top 20 debut 'Universal Language' will find plenty to love here however its Metrik’s devotion to creating a fresh and thrilling strain of drum & bass that stands to bring in a new audience and earmark 'LIFE/THRILLS' for instant classic status.

Striking while the iron’s hot, Hospital legend and drum & bass kingpin Danny Byrd hits us with the second single from his forthcoming album, ‘Hold Up The Crown (feat. Ky Lenz)’. Vocal driven and drenched in that vintage Byrd goodness, this future anthem is primed to be a key part of the summer soundtrack of 2018.
This liquid sizzler is high octane D+B at its best, reaching new heights with vocal and production prowess. Truly striking a chord; this sing-along, rolling, rap infused banger showcases Danny's classic R&B and hip-hop influences, matched up with a soul-filled performance from singer/songwriter Ky Lenz.
It’s already been a sensational return for Danny Byrd with ‘Devil’s Drop’ deemed Annie Mac’s ‘Hottest Record In The World’ on BBC Radio 1 and ‘Salute (feat. MC GQ)’ having taken over airwaves and bass-bins across the globe. 2018 is certainly set to be the year of the Byrd!

Taking no prisoners, Grafix kicks off 2020 by unleashing a heavy dose of acidic pandemonium and drum & bass madness in his latest single, ‘Stutter’.
His previous singles ‘Radiance’ and ‘Break The Cycle’ showcased Grafix’s darker, more robust sound. His latest lethal dancefloor weapon ‘Stutter’ is another wild ride of grizzly sonics and stabs - the warped cousin of his previous Beatport D&B number 1, ‘Acid Generation’. Grafix’s solo workings dive deep into his love for techno and acid-house and have already reeled in support from the likes of Andy C, Metrik, Friction, A.M.C, Sub Focus and more.
During the last decade Grafix has also released three albums as Fred V & Grafix that come complete with iconic drum & bass anthems, and garnered support on major radio airwaves from the likes of tastemakers Zane Lowe, Annie Mac, Danny Howard, Rene LaVice, to name a few.

After the huge impact of his debut LP 'What The Future Holds' in 2012, S.P.Y goes 'Back To Basics' and takes us deeper, darker and further underground with this uncompromising selection.
The recent 'Back To Basics' sampler EP introduced this new edge to his sound, and having tested these tracks in his DJ sets over recent months, S.P.Y has fine-tuned their mixdowns and structures for maximum dancefloor impact.
S.P.Y's closest allies Total Science, and Diane Charlemagne appear on two tracks each. With S.P.Y keeping it international across the remaining collaborations on this album: Canadians Rene Lavice & Grimm, Mancunian DRS, Jamaican Suku of Ward 21 bring their unique talents to the table.
If any D+B artist can truly claim to be the "producers producer" then Carlos S.P.Y surely has a good case. If the comments on this album by his luminaries are anything to go by then : "One of my fave producers" says DJ Hype, "Carlos back to his filthy best!" say Total Science, "There's only one S.P.Y" says Doc Scott.

Hospital Record’s soulful drum & bass legend Makoto returns to the South London imprint with his latest 5-track beauty. His ‘What You Need’ EP is a stunning reflection of how he continues to infuse his jazz, soul and funk influences amongst the sounds of jungle and drum & bass with a 2021 twist. With a jaw dropping list of collaborators on the EP including a remix from DJ Marky, [ K S R ], Vonné, Missing and Danny Wheeler, Makoto has stepped up once again with some of his strongest work to date after spending time in his home of Japan in recent months.
Sampling the legendary American blues singer Z. Z. Hill’s ‘Sweet Woman By Your Side’ in EP title track ‘What You Need’, Makoto brings the warm and heartfelt sounds of the early 1970s into the modern day realms of drum & bass. Accompanied by the stunningly powerful vocals of Vonné who has supplied powerhouse toplines on Hospital anthems such as Fred V’s ‘Away’, Mitekiss’ ‘Matter’ as well as backing vocals on Makoto’s ‘Spread Love’ anthem released earlier this year, an upfront collaboration with both soul music extraordinaires might just be exactly what you need.
Following on from his widely loved cover of ‘Spread Love’ featuring Pete Simpson earlier this year which saw frequent support from DJ Marky, London Elektricity, Nu:Tone and more, Makoto continues to deliver outstanding contributions to the world of drum & bass. With a discography packed with liquid-soul classics and two albums under his belt on Hospital, his ‘What You Need’ EP is a stellar addition to Makoto’s flawless release history.

In what was “the biggest challenge of (their) lives”, in February 2020, Austrian drum & bass duo Camo & Krooked collaborated with the legendary composer Christian Kolonovits to mix electronic music with symphonic sounds and perform live with a 74-piece orchestra. After several months of dedication the result was ‘Red Bull Symphonic’, premiered with two exclusive shows in an even more exclusive location, Vienna’s Wiener Konzerthaus, a first-choice venue for the world's leading classical composers.
Needless to say, the result was spectacular and now alongside Red Bull’s documentary of the project, Hospital Records are releasing the full showcase as a 22-track live album Featuring the pair’s biggest and best-loved hits all performed by the 74-piece orchestra, this is a drum & bass album like you’ve never heard before. Three drum & bass powerhouses collide as Camo & Krooked & Mefjus team up on their latest glitched out anthem ‘No Tomorrow’ featuring the sultry vocals of Sophie Lindinger - an unmatchable four-way showcase of some of Austria’s finest musical talent. With the three titan’s last collaboration ‘Kallisto’ on Hospital Records taking the electronic music scene by storm last summer with impeccable sound design and mind-warping basslines, Camo & Krooked & Mefjus have outdone themselves once more as ‘No Tomorrow’ plunges deep into the depths of twisted drum & bass sonics.
Spooky knocks and the intoxicating voice of Sophie Lindinger, the lead singer of acclaimed Austrian electro-pop band Leyya, gravitate the track straight into action, paving the way for orchestral atmospherics and enrapturing strings. Minimal drums, crafted with meticulous precision, lay the groundwork for an out-of-this-world synth which propels the listener into futuristic realms. It’s safe to say that Camo & Krooked & Mefjus’ continue in their fields as leading musicians and sound designers, whilst Sophie Lindinger demonstrates her unique ability to inject raw emotion into her music through solemn yet graceful lyrics and phrases.
Things don’t get much bigger than the joining forces of Camo & Krooked with Mefjus, with the behemoth trio unleashing drum & bass crunchers such as ‘Sidewinder’ on Noisia’s Vision Recordings and ‘Kallisto’ on Hospital Records which has racked up well over 2 million streams. Notwithstanding their killer separate back catalogues home to classics such as Camo & Krooked’s ‘Set It Off (feat. Jeru The Damaja)’, ‘All Night’ and ‘Loa’, and Mefjus’ ‘Suicide Bassline’, ‘Foundations’ and ‘The Sirens’, this is yet another certified smasher for Camo & Krooked and Mefjus to add to their books.

Two of Russia’s finest drum & bass producers have combined forces for an exciting new project. St Petersburg’s Microfunk mastermind Bop, and Moscow’s minimalistic groove guru Subwave, unite for their debut collaborative release ‘Love & Other Drugs’. With their elegant approach to drum & bass, this four-track EP fuses futuristic indie-electronica, 2-step UK garage, glitchy beats and 80’s inspired vocal stylings.
Progressive euphoria is the name of the game in ‘Teardrops’ as Bop x Subwave pick apart the structure of D+B in this warm, delicate and hypnotic glitch number. Following suit is ‘Space Warp’ - darker with eerie undertones, packaged as a sub-heavy stepper.
The second half of ‘Love & Other Drugs’ sees the duo branch out beyond the realms of traditional D+B. The bittersweet ballad ‘Don’t Wake Me Up’ is kitted out with a definitive 80’s style. Seeing the EP home is ‘The Touch’ with the syncopated beatwork of 2-step UK Garage, complete with skippy breaks and snappy vocal sampling.
In the decade since the release of Hospital Records’ ‘Future Sound Of Russia’ LP, Bop and Subwave have produced an impressive array of tracks across Hospital Records, Med School, Liquicity, Shogun Audio, Metalheadz and Microfunk, cementing their reputations for going beyond the boundaries of D+B. Keep your eyes peeled for more collaborative musings from Bop x Subwave in 2020.

Fred V & Grafix bring a breath of fresh air with their long-awaited second album ‘Oxygen’. The 15-track venture strips away any uniformity, opening up into dreamy, synthesized waves of drum & bass, elements of elegant electro-pop, down-tempo beats, unsuspecting instrumentation and everything in between.
Their progression is clear from the off, the gorgeous ‘Ignite’ details infectious guitar and heartfelt harmonies from Fred V himself and their newest top-line finding, Amy J Pryce. She also appears on vocal led tracks ‘Altitude’ and ‘Electrify’ that push the pair even further into songwriter territory. They’ve spent months working with close friend Tudor Davies - whose vocal leads on romantic slow-mover ‘One Of A Kind’ - to create expressive, honest lyrics and enticing melodies throughout the LP.
Fred V & Grafix’s soundtrack style stands up tall in ‘Nearly There’ and ‘Our Story’ adding a surprise collaboration with Bloc Party front-man Kele to the mix. Both tracks encapsulate the epic, ‘hands in the air’ euphoria that Fred V & Grafix deliver to devoted crowds worldwide. Their drum & bass dancefloor roots remain strong with tracks ‘Stay Here’ and ‘Together We’re Lost’ picking up the pace.
In the debut album 'Recognise' we got a taste for their skills as live musicians. In take two we get even more from Grafix guitars, to drums, keys and Fred V’s own vocals, every element is faultlessly infused with title track ‘Oxygen’ as the perfect example.

"Nu:Logic - What I've Always Waited For"
Nu:Logic is a collaborative partnership between Hospital stalwarts Nu:Tone and Logistics. Individually, the Gresham brothers have released a total of seven long players already on Hospital, each to great critical acclaim. The sum of their combined powers is oozing with the kind of soulful drum + bass, which is the foundation of the Hospital label and will satisfy long term fans who hanker after the golden days of the genre.
Having brought us the Nu:Logic "New Technique" EP in 2010 and the recently released follow up single "Morning Light / Grizzly", the duo now bring us their highly anticipated debut album "What I've Always Waited For".
Opening with the calm, mellow soothing sounds of "Morning Light" we are taken through a variety of styles across the 14-track album. Vocal-driven cuts are peppered throughout the album and there's some top collaborations in there, including "Everlasting Days (ft. Lifford)" with its warm, uplifting vibe, the growling spoken swagger of "We Live There (ft. DRS)" and the blissed out "Shoot Me Down (ft. Robert Manos)".
Elsewhere, don't miss out on the excellent "Start Again (ft. S.P.Y)" with the raw, bass heavy menacing tones, as well as the meditative title track "What I've Always Waited For" which is all whirring atmospherics and pattering drums. Two interludes "Escape Pod" and "Dusk" successfully segment the album into thirds. With so many musical gems to choose from, one thing is for sure - this has been worth waiting for.

S.P.Y returns with the second single from his newly formed ‘Dubplate Style’ movement. With a classic ‘95 flavour, ‘Grey Days’ and ‘Shadows Of The Mind’ are a homage to the foundations of drum & bass. Fresh off the press with only 100 physical copies in existence, this super exclusive release takes it back to the original sound.
‘Grey Days’ is a steadfast adventure riddled with twisted vocals and eerie undertones. This darkside story plunges deeper with ‘Shadows Of The Mind’. Tense amen stabs swiftly hypnotise, luring you through S.P.Y’s dark labyrinth with nothing but the shadows for company. Listen at your peril.
In the last year alone, S.P.Y’s gathered regular radio support from dance music tastemakers Annie Mac and Danny Howard on BBC Radio 1, so much so he was invited to the perform an exclusive jungle mini-mix and DJed on the first ever ‘Rave Lounge’ B2B with Rene LaVice, also another frequent champion of S.P.Y’s sound.
As one of Hospital Records’ most sought after DJs, S.P.Y has now launched his very own ‘Dubplate Style’ event series, premiering at the sold out Critical Music Summer Sonics BBQ. With more shows to come and numerous other sets at monolith shows, such as Hospitality On The Beach where his dubplate style boat party sold out in under thirty minutes, as well as Boomtown, Hospitality In The Park and more!

Hospital Records are excited to unveil the third instalment of their ‘Future Symptoms’ VA EP series. Pressing deeper into their journey to discover and showcase some of the very best talent within the world of drum & bass, ‘Future Symptoms Vol. 3’ features Nectax, MYKOOL & Lost Child, Mr Joseph & Phoebe Freya, and Jam Thieves.
Stepping up with old school jungle vibes is Nectax with ‘Gold Soul’. With previous releases on RAM and Overview, as well as being picked up by leading dance music publications such as Mixmag and UKF, expect pure 90s euphoria as the Newcastle-based ‘one to watch’ crafts together rugged breakbeats, a hypnotising vocal sample and a pounding 808 bassline.
MYKOOL & Lost Child, who are no strangers to collaborating, get together on ‘Self Made’, a vibe-drenched liquid drum & bass anthem featuring hazy chimes and a shredder of a bassline. With support from the likes of Drum&BassArena and UKF between them, as well as a string of self-releases and releases on Pick ‘N’ Mix Recordings, the future is looking bright for these two.
Drum & bass mainstay Mr Joseph lays down a soul infused banger vocalled by the wonderful Phoebe Freya, the voice behind Etherwood’s ‘Clouds’ Degs’ ‘Trade Places’ (feat. LSB). With an array of releases on Liquid V and his own Fizzy Beats imprint, Mr Joseph is a connoisseur of the jazzier side of drum & bass, and this link up with Phoebe Freya is something special.
Brazilian-based bass bringer Jam Thieves rounds off the release with ‘Bangkok’, packed with mind blowing frequencies that are guaranteed to shred up any soundsystem. These modulated wobbles and a deadly sub bass are just a glimpse into what Jam Thieves is about, with previous releases on Break’s Symmetry Recordings, Playaz and Serial Killaz, he’s only just getting warmed up…
As we round off our third Future Symptoms EP series, don’t sleep on the names of tomorrow as we continue to showcase the sounds of the next generation. With previous Future Symptoms releases bringing through the likes of Winslow, Mozey, Nia Archives, Stay-C, Lally and Disrupta, the future sound of 174BPM is looking serious!

Dance music icon Netsky has taken the drum & bass scene by storm since the announcement of his highly anticipated return to Hospital Records for his fourth studio album. ‘Second Nature’ represents Netsky’s everlasting love for his D&B roots that has sent shockwaves throughout the dance community. His journey comes full circle as his brand new record marks the 10 year anniversary since his self-titled Hospital debut, with collaborations on the 18-track long-player from Sub Focus, Becky Hill, Rudimental, Hybrid Minds, and Urbandawn to name a few. ‘Second Nature’ is teed up to be a remarkable and seminal release for drum & bass lovers around the world.
Bringing his classic liquid sound into 2020 alongside New Zealand based prodigy Montell2099 who has worked with the likes of Diplo, 21 Savage, Lil Wayne and Mr. Carmack, future bass meets Netsky’s signature soulful groove on ‘Mixed Emotions’, paying tribute to New Zealand and the love and support he has received there over the past decade of his career as an artist and DJ.
Multi Brit-Award winning drum & bass powerhouse Rudimental and their official vocalist Afronaut Zu jump into the picture for ‘Blend’, which sees groove filled vocals rolled out alongside a slick bassline, vibrant trumpets, Netsky’s feel-good melodies, and Rudimental’s signature uplifting style.
Covering the Deniece Williams classic, ‘Free’ is reminiscent of Netsky’s love for funk & soul, introduced by his father from a young age, that can also be felt in ‘I Choose You’ (a cover of Willie Hutch’s ‘I Choose You) and ‘Everybody Loves The Sunshine’ (feat. Chantal Kashala & Daddy Waku)’ (covering Roy Ayers’ ‘Everybody Loves The Sunshine’). ‘Free’ takes you back to the original sounds of Netsky with a trademark liquid bassline and unforgettable brass topline, as sincere vocals and old school breakbeats tie the track together into a nostalgic number infused with the sounds of today.
‘Look At Me Go’ features breakbeat and UK hardcore champion Darren Styles. This four to the floor slammer with its thumping kick drum and catchy vocal sample has already received support from the likes of Sub Focus and Dimension. Coming together with Hospital’s very own Urbandawn, ‘Power’ sees the epic collision of two heavyweights as halftime drums and a slapping double bass kick start the jam, followed by the takeover of sweltering synths and sonically searing drums.
‘Destiny’ is a high voltage dancefloor anthem as Netsky joins forces with fellow drum & bass stalwart Sub Focus with Jozzy on the vocals. Big room synths inject energising vibrations on this electrifying cut which truly is a collaboration of legends. Plus, soulful pianos are paired with the unifying vocals of Becky Hill as she throws back to her second nature, and graces her first drum & bass track for several years on the heartfelt banger ‘Hold On’.
