Formats: 2x12" vinyl, CD and digital download
Med School storms into a new decade and continues to push exhilarating up-and-coming artists with some of the freshest drum+bass rhythms you are likely to hear. 'New Blood 010' is an invigorating selection of finger-on-the-pulse boundary-pushing electronic music where only the top sonic surgeons make the grade. Delivered on two piece vinyl CD and digital download, this is essential listening!
This stunning album exudes a healthy dose of diverse sounds yet maintains a high level of consistency from start to finish. From the atmospheric depths of Synkro and Kharm right through to Enei's damaging bass oscillations and the twisted dynamics of Royalston. Stripped-down dancefloor vibes provided by Electrolyte, DJ Madd, Derrick, Tonika and Implex are perfectly balanced by elegant and forward-thinking creations from Circa, Pryzma, So:Flow and Joe Syntax. There's also a remix first for Med School as supercool producer Stray stamps his authority on the Boston-based ambient/electronica outfit Helios.
Having scoured the planet for the hottest talent, Med School delivers music from all corners of the globe from London to Australia, Hungary to Cornwall, Russia to Manchester, Germany to Belarus and Ukraine to Sheffield. These young practitioners have checked your vital signs and are ready to deliver the next prognosis with an array of scalpel-sharp sounds and rhythmical remedies. Keep ears and eyes peeled for these producers in 2010 and beyond!

Fall deep down the rabbit hole with Rawtekk’s ‘Here’s To Them’ LP, a fascinating blend of innovative sound-scapes and twisted dance floor compositions.
Boasting years of experience in the world of professional sound design, Rawtekk's latest creation is a sonic masterpiece - a flawless follow-up to their stunning debut release on Med School back in 2013.
Opening track, ‘The Hatch’, offers the rawest of introductions as Rawtekk welcome you to their world. A swarm of disorder lets rip in ‘Here’s To Them’, chainsaw synths and head-banging chaos in ‘Harbour’ and tear-out, neuro drum-drillings fill ‘Extinction’.
Take a breath with the contrasting tranquility of ‘K.I.A.’, get gripped by the hauntingly delicate, ‘My Love’, and drift away with the wonderland whisperings of ‘Restless’, layered over a rumbling bassline.
'Here’s To Them’ is spider-web of electronic exploration, delivering a sinister, cinematic experience that is guaranteed to inspire the darker side of the imagination.

Released in 2008, Martsman draws from a diverse palette of drum sounds, chopped up and laid over a monumental detuned sub.
Med School proudly present the fascinating sounds of A.Fruit! Her ‘Obsession’ EP is loaded with a hybrid of dark moody sonics and curious grooves in a 160BPM body, that draws from the realms of jungle, juke, future bass, techno, halftime and beyond. The 5-track EP follows the Russian producer’s previous releases on Med School’s ‘New Blood’ series, Teklife, Hyperboloid, Sequel One Records and Black Marble Collective.
Opening track ‘Please, Arrive’ is a seamless stepper that boasts elements of epic electronica with a classic D+B kick. ‘Bright Spot’ is a futuristic, tight-knit jungle and juke mix, layered with a serene female vocal chop-up - a true treat for foot-workers everywhere.
A.Fruit displays the darker side of her musical finesse with ‘Music Lasts Forever’, a majestic head-nodder loaded with scattered drums that runs parallel with title track, ‘Obsession’. As for the final track? It’s her ‘Secret Trick’ of 160 and 130BPM fusion!
A.Fruit’s obsession for experimental bass music is her self-proclaimed ‘professional disease’ that already spans over a decade, following her degree in professional engineering and childhood love of songwriting. Outside of producing 160 beats, she creates sounds and music for a variety of PC games, worked in TV as a sound tech and provides digital mastering in her own home studio. Her eclectic DJ sets draw from her love of Exit Records, Astrophonica, Hyperdub, Planet Mu, Cosmic Bridge and many more. You can catch her this year in Croatia with the Med School family at Hospitality On The Beach.

Frederic Robinson's second full length studio album 'Flea Waltz' is a complex and fascinating body of work that once again offers a breath of fresh air in a world numbed by predictability. From the fantastical pop opera of Constellations to Acrylic's delicate euphoria, the album plunges us into a thrilling whirlpool of unexpected sonics, arrangements and themes, effortlessly picking up the vocabularies of jazz, world music, modern classical drum & bass, and colliding them together to produce symphonies of influence that are both familiar and yet totally unheard.
The journey is made complete by Lily Juniper, whose charming vocals gracefully pull Frederic's labyrinthine ideas into focus, unifying emotions like an astronomer making sense of the night sky.
Frederic Robinson's debut album 'Mixed Signals' exploded beyond the usual boundaries of the dnb scene, receiving universal praise from fans and artists in almost every other electronic music genre, from BBC6 music's Tom Middleton to Hospital Records' London Elektricity. In 2013 Frederic Robinson turned drum and bass on its head with the incredibly inventive and adventurous album, 'Mixed Signals', released on Blu Mar Ten Music.
In the three years following 'Mixed Signals', Frederic has been developing his spectacular live show, experimenting with new instruments and technologies, and, naturally, working on his stunning follow up LP, Flea Waltz.

Almost two years on from his incredibly well-received debut album and Etherwood is back with the highly anticipated, “Blue Leaves” LP, a body of work showcasing the sheer talent of one of the UK’s most exciting artists in electronic music. Within this fourteen-track LP, Etherwood has not only displayed his perfected production skills but also outshone more than ever before with his own vocal performances and instrumental prowess.
Captivating listeners with his creativity, Etherwood explores the finer soundscapes of drum & bass, relaying the liquid beauty that his continually growing following have come to love him for. Included are the already popular 2015 releases, “You’ll Always Be a Part of Me”, “Souvenirs” featuring Zara Kershaw and most recent single, “Light My Way Home” featuring Eva Lazarus, premiered by BBC Radio 1’s Annie Mac. Within fourteen tracks, not one is undeserving of its place on what is a truly outstanding album.
Enriched with sublime symphonic sounds, “For A Time I Was You” and “Cast Away” drift through epic elevations and enrapturing orchestral outbreaks that will undoubtedly stop all in their tracks. Powerful string sections, moving piano-led melodies and rolling percussions exude elegance, staying true to Etherwood’s signature sound.
The heart of “Blue Leaves” lies within “Revive”, rich with raw emotion and Eva Lazarus’ unforgettable vocal hooks - a musical match made in heaven between Etherwood and longstanding Hospital Records signee, Logistics. The album's soul is sparked with a S.P.Y collaboration in “We're Nothing Without Love”, a testament to Etherwood's growth as an impressive singer/songwriter.
Similarly, “Caption”, “Breathe It In” and “Sunlight Splinters” highlight his completed skill set, with crisp percussions and soft waves of bass bound by his own powerful vocal performance. Finally, the breath-taking finale of “The Last Hour” draws a quaint close to the Etherwood 2.0 experience.
Since signing to Med School, Etherwood has risen from a humble underground following to gaining support from some of the world’s most respected DJs and broadcasters with his most recent releases receiving regular airwave play on BBC Radio 1 & 1Xtra, Kiss FM, Capital Radio and Rinse FM. The “Blue Leaves” LP is sure to set Etherwood on the same promising path showcasing his ever-growing repertoire of electronic masterpieces for one of the most inspiring drum & bass albums of the year.

Earlier this year Med School stormed into the Top 10 of the iTunes dance album chart with "New Blood 010", the first full length various artist compilation to be released on the label. The album -- revered by critics, DJs and fans in equal measure -- showcased a dozen scalpel-sharp excursions by a plethora of cutting-edge artists. Four of these risings talents have returned to the fold to prescribe a second dose of aural medication as Med School presents "More Blood 010".
Synkro kick-started "New Blood 010" with the epic opener "Departure", setting the benchmark for the entire album. This time the Manchester-based producer unveils "In Transit", another slice of emotional minimalism encapsulated in a beautifully pensive soundscape. Eerie voices, delicate pads and reverberated keys are perpetuated by a texture of crackling kicks and clicks. Support for Synkro continues to build with the likes of dBridge, TRG, Mary Anne Hobbs, N-Type, Martyn, Ben UFO, Reso, Rusko, The Others and more all hammering his music.
ANILE talks track names, studio setup and working towards an album in part 2 of our interview, marking the release of his epic "Losing My Mind" EP, available now on vinyl & digital formats.

Released in 2007. On the flip of the "Ghost Ship EP" comes "Silent Sleeper". Another hybrid monster chosen by Fabio as his "left of the field" tune on BBC Radio 1 this is stand out material and no mistake. It's dubstep but not as we know it! Grade-A half time, hybrid, swingbeat... call it what you will -- it's the thinking mans rhythm and guaranteed to destroy the dance!
