Continuing their trailblazing ways, Cid Inc's Replug Records closes out the spring season by welcoming Mike Griego back to the label for a new EP. Coming off the 2019 release of 'Sienna' for Hernan Cattaneo's Sudbeat Music, the Argentinean artist racked up an impressive 2020. Backed by a remix from Cid Inc, Mike's much hyped 'Solaris' arrived in July via Replug, a track which now sits at the top of his Beatport best seller's chart. Rounding out the year in style, the Buenos Aires resident then debuted on Nick Warren's The Soundgarden, with the tastefully nostalgic 'My Last Hope', a creation which anchored the label's 'Winter Collection' long player. Now presenting his first new music of 2021, Mike lands back on Replug with a two-track showcase entitled 'Dysbiosis'.

Always trending on the stylized spectrum of progressive music, 'Dysbiosis' finds Mike capturing that rare combination of cutting-edge creativity and emotive musicality. Taking square aim at the dance floor are a backbone of charged beats and a wall of shapely, key changing bass. Fiery percussion and lively rhythms lock down the groove further, as ghostly vocal wails and stunning effects trail across the stereo field. Sitting at the heart of the creation is a two-minute centrepiece, where a percussive blur melts down into an effervescent glow of melody and colour. Reflective in nature, these clustered notes ring out in timeless suspension, tastefully building to a finale that is both electrifying and elegant.

The companion piece 'Waste Of Time'' impresses further with its buoyant energy and vivacious storyboard. Warm, full and incredibly fluid, it's rolling groove and rhythmic pulses are transcendent, building momentum as hazy melodies delight with their fuzzy charm. Expediting the journey are layers of mesmerizing percussion and trailing effects, uniting for a hypnotizing drawl leading into a cosmic break, which ultimately preludes a groovy finish.

Mike Griego's long standing relationship with Replug has produced several of progressive music's most memorable moments. 'Dysbiosis' once again follows suit, landing with impact and emotion, setting the course for one of the summer seasons most in demand releases.
