Behind the Track
Calypso began from a purely playful, improvisational force - it started as a jam session and then, through mis-hearing a phrase, we landed on the myth & the chorus. We tried to shift this ancient story into something more personal and contemporary - what if Odysseus was not content after returning home to Penelope? What if, as he watched himself age, he regretted leaving immortality behind?
