Netherlands-based producer Nymos combines various elements from 2-step, Dubstep, Ambient and several other electronic genres into an eclectic blend of dark electronic music. Heavy basslines and beats are accompanied by distant melodies and cut-up vocals. His sounds resemble the wash of lights across an evening cityscape, whilst a concrete heartbeat pounds in the distance...
Inspiration is mainly taken from anonymous big-city life. Urban soundscapes, public transportation, as well as rain and record static frequently make their appearance in Nymos' tracks.
