Maina Doe is an amalgamation of Somali, Indonesian and Australian culture of old-time jams, of the new internet age, of carefree, tropical dance nights and of 21st century melancholy.

After four years of writing, collaborating and performing within Sydney, Maina Doe (pronounced ma-yee-na) steps into her own to offer a fresh perspective in a new era of multidimensional R&B. Fusing elements of jazz, soul, 90s R&B, neo-soul, pop, hip-hop and electronic, Maina Doe delivers witty, authentic writing along with an honest vocal delivery.
