An outstanding four-tracker earns Dosem a second Truesoul release in 2019.

It hasn’t taken long for Dosem to follow-up his ‘Energy Source’ EP, the two-track work that marked his label debut in May. Sliding effortlessly between house and techno, the Spaniard’s productions are imbued with bags of groove and heart, making him a perfect fit for Truesoul.

His ‘Evidence EP’ is testament to his studio prowess. The title track is a skilfully executed arrangement, as sliding bass effects combine with deep tech rhythms for a snake-hipped finish. ‘Badgood’ is streamlined and efficient, a useful tool in building shape and character. ‘Instead’ is built around a foundation of snares, hallucinatory vocal effects and bullish bass, yet still retains a wonderfully deep after-hours vibe. ‘Restart This’ is a smart percussive roller, perky enough to make a dancefloor fizz, while still retaining Dosem’s trademark smooth melodic core. .
