Chilled #03: Liquid Drum & Bass
The 'Chilled' series has always had an intelligent electronic sound at its core. Finding tracks with the right sound can be immensely time-consuming, requiring hours and hours of crate-digging; for this set alone I must have listened to over 3000 tracks before settling on the final selection. It's a long process but, ultimately, a redeeming one. Slightly different shift in pace with this one: bit more energy than the previous 2 instalments, but still enough 'chill' to it to induce a state of head-nodding. My thanks, as usual, to the supreme efforts of the featured artists, for continously gifting our ears with these beautiful sounds.
