► Liquid Drum & Bass Mix -
Starting off this liquid drum & bass mix with the title track from Personah's stunning new EP over on Liquid Flavours, "New Life" leads the way. Next up some forthcoming action from the beloved Bay 6 Recordings, the mighty Colossus is back with a huge 4 track EP with the 2020 remix of "5-HT" up in second spot, with "Virtues" (13:46) & Paper Peacocks (24:34) from the EP also featuring, to be released this November 20th. On the topic of Bay 6 is the boss of the label himself, Echo Motion, with a truly heavyweight free download in the form of "Progression" which is up in third spot. TZ & Pulsate recently put out a brilliant 4 track EP for absolutely free (link for that below), "Mistakes" rolls in just before 9 minutes. Majestim is back with a belter of a remix, he took on Visages "Hurting Me" which is available for free, link below. ALB has been on fine form as usual, the spectacular "Breathing Space" recently dropped on the mighty Ram Records. nCamargo's "Soul Howl" LP is out now on nCounter music, "Contemplation" from that EP features just before 27 minutes. Smote's "Bloody Moon" EP recently made it way to Fokuz recordings, the title track (31:38), "Falling Down" (38:30) & "Human Weakness" all feature. Umax recently threw down a 4 track EP over on 4 Corners, "Translucent" from that EP features at 45:24. Going back to the "New Life" EP from Personah, his collaboration with Counterpoint called "Persistance" (40:56) & the stunning "You Won't Find Me" (36:06). Plenty of older pieces in here this week, just over 2 year ago saw Alexvnder's remix of "Love No More" by Cosmic Sequence & Aetherial hit the shelves. The year previous saw Malaky's "Mixed Emotions" EP drop on Fokuz Recordings which included "Time Out". "The Sentry" by the legendary Marcus Intalex came through Soul:r in 2008 as part of the "Astro Dance" EP. 2 years later in 2010 came the first part of the Nightlife EP on Ram Records which included S.P.Y's "Go With The Flow" and last but by no means least, Spectrasoul, who's recent announcement of retirement from Drum & Bass left us all with a heavy heart, "Organiser" finishes proceedings. For the last 14 years & the medley of heavyweights these guys have thrown down, Spectrasoul, we salute you!
