In July 2015, acclaimed British artist and current "Only Silk" radio co-host Universal Solution showcased his blissful "Pressure Point / Luquan" EP on Silk Music. 6 months later, we are proud to present three fresh remixes of "Pressure Point". On remix detail are long-time Silk contributors Lessov (Canada) and Marsh (UK).

Lessov's remix takes off with a delicious atmosphere, including soothing percussion lines and intriguing pad layers in the background. Soon, smooth bassline notes enter the mix, as well as delicate and mysterious sound effects.

In Marsh's 'Prog' remix, a hypnotic groove is quickly established, featuring intricate percussion elements and subtle melodic layers. In the break, countless intriguing sounds are at play, as well as haunting female vocal stems.

A rather mesmerizing atmosphere is introduced in Marsh's 'Deep' remix. Numerous outstanding percussion layers and sound effects form a brilliant listening experience, while the main theme lead from the original keeps lurking in the background throughout the song.

Storming talent Matt Fax from France continues to contribute new, inspiring material to Silk, especially our Arrival division. This time he is ready with "Orion", including two new originals. The title track, "Orion", is also featured on the newly launched "Arrival 01: Destination United Kingdom" compilation.

"Orion" starts out smoothly with enjoyable pad layers and soothing sound effects. As the track progresses, numerous synths are added, and in the break, a lush theme melody emerges. Subtle piano chord stabs join the theme in creating a unique and mesmerizing atmosphere. A darker groove is introduced in "Hidden Feelings", where the break features a set of pleasant piano melodies and hypnotizing pad elements. The track continues in full effect, mainly enhanced by the powerful combination of the intriguing theme lead and rolling bassline.

Silk Royal is thrilled to present "Searching For A Memory", a release that unites the talents of several of the most accomplished international artists in progressive house. Aeron Aether & Mango, who have both charted on Beatport on dozens of occasions over the past few years, have teamed up with Civil Servants, a rising songwriting and vocals duo from Philadelphia. The Original Mix begins with a potent bassline from Aether, followed by his innovative use of strings and pads. Poignant lead melody lines from Mango appear soon thereafter and, in the main break, offer a climactic backdrop to Civil Servants' haunting, yet sexy lyrics.

Russian star PROFF (Anjunadeep), whose "Starstruck" remains a Silk Royal label highlight, has teamed up with good friend Feu D'or for an 80's-inspired instrumental interpretation. This feel-good mix by one of progressive's "elder statesman" dares you to leave the dancefloor.

Polish sensation Sundriver offers two moodier, after-hours interpretations (vocal / instrumental). Now firmly established as one of the premier acts in progressive house / trance with a recent top 15 hit on Beatport ("Good Morning Track" Remix), Sundriver taps into the emotional energy of the original in crafting these two moving interpretations.

Finally, Swedish artist Crayons (producer behind Lanui) offers a jubilant, 80's-influenced take. Clearly influenced by his Scandinavian brethren Michael Cassette, Crayons' mix is equal parts emotional and euphoric.

Serbian phenom Vintage & Morelli has emerged as a singular talent on our roster. His extraordinary and truly unique compositional style, on which he has worked tirelessly over the last 15 years, combines elements of house, progressive, trance, and downtempo into vivid, cinematic soundscapes that never fail to move the listener. Since releasing "My Rose Enchanted Destiny," his debut artist album, over 3 years ago, his career has reached new heights, thanks to a consistent output of acclaimed singles and EPs on our label, as well as various contributions to the likes of Anjunabeats, Armada, and FSOE. On the heels of live dates in Australia and The Netherlands, Vintage & Morelli will tour the States for the first time this summer, as the main headliner of our Silk Music Showcase #500 Tour.

Needless to say, the stage is set for the arrival of "Hymn To The Night," his greatly anticipated second artist album. Representing the pinnacle of Vintage & Morelli's musical development, the album offers a full spectrum of his composition gifts, from gorgeous orchestral and breaks tracks to a significant amount of peak-hour progressive house and trance cuts. That's not all: his long-standing collaborator Arielle Maren, the extraordinary American singer-songwriter who has graced so many of Vintage & Morelli's most famous works, makes a tremendous contribution to this record, with her characteristically stirring lyrics and vocals gracing no less than five of the tracks on this album, including the singles "Breathe" and "Lonely Shore," the latter also featuring instrumental touches from renowned producer RNX. Canadian singer-songwriter Brandon Mignacca also appears twice on the album; his recent work with Sound Quelle introduced his beautiful songwriting and vocal performances to our community, and his collaborations with Vintage & Morelli on this album -- "Love Is" and "Bloom" -- profoundly and poignantly celebrate the healing power of love. There is quite literally a song for all electronic music tastes on "Hymn To The Night," and Vintage & Morelli pours his soul into each and every track, with sweeping instrumental motifs decorating the canvas of each arrangement. It is our extraordinary honor to present this album to our Silk Music Family, as well as new fans of emotive electronic music from across the globe.
