Donations from this event went to the artists, and myvoicemusic.org which helps youth of all backgrounds to grow as musicians by facilitating mentorships which help them to record and self release their music.

Got a chance to visit my dad who has just turned 80! Mad respect to the man who influenced me heavily in being a lover of jazz growing up. While I was visiting, he bestowed a ton of music & cds on me, so I thought it was important to play the music and celebrate these artists. Jazz, hip hop, funk and soul has had such a huge influence on my love for drum and bass! In this mix, I celebrate my dad for his birthday...much love dad! xoxo

The second edition of The Liquid Moments Official Podcast comes from DJ Abraham from L.A.O.S (Large Amount Of Soul).

L.A.O.S. has a bunch of releases from labels like Bass=Win, Viper, Hospital, Raw Canvas, Spearhead, Defunked and Midnight Sun Recordings. Their tracks are getting DJ support from names like London Elektricity, Zinc, Blu Mar Ten, Blame, Annie Mac, Kasra and Utah Jazz just to name a few. Their release Panda Style has gained worldwide recognition and the future will tell if these boys be known for inventing the "Endangered Species Step" music genre. In 2007 they were asked to do a remix for 4hero of their track called Morning Child. Their debut album which was released January 2012. The album was named by a L.A.O.S. fan in an online competition for fans and the title was descriptively "Finally". It was released under the Bass=Win label.
