Stylo is back to Timeless Moment in a brand new EP in collaboration with Lonya, marking the label debut of one of the most renowned producers in Israel’s scene.

The first track of the EP is the amazingly unique “Afterhours”, a melodic house track that mixes oriental elements with a driving riff pluck synth line. A male vocal introduce its listeners into an afterhours party vibe while the melodies evolve the groove and the ethnical vocals, creating the ultimate hypnotic vibe.

Timeless Moment label boss is on charge of the remix duties for Afterhours, transforming the track into a darker progressive house version. Morttagua makes uses of a powerful rolling bass line together with his unreal use of 4d plucks to transform Afterhours into an immersive peak time weapon.

EDGE begins their 2020 journey with a much-anticipated collaboration from Hermanez and Eran Aviner. Hailing from Belgium and making his label debut is Hermanez. Initially known for his timeless, tech-soul productions on Mobilee Records, Noir Music and Suara, the Genk resident has enjoyed a career renaissance in recent years, remodelling his sound with deeper, more musical and wonderfully organic leanings. It's a shift that has landed him releases on the movement's premiere imprints, most notably All Day I Dream, Lost & Found, Shanti Radio Moscow and TRYBESof. Also laying claim to an impressive discography is EDGE co-founder Eran Aviner. The Belgian artist has showcased his music on Hernan Cattaneo's Sudbeat Music and Guy Mantzur's Plattenbank Records, while also being regarded as one of his country's most astute DJs. Having worked together once previously on a chart topping remix for Sound Avenue, Hermanez and Eran now present their debut EP via EDGE entitled 'Arias'.

Beginning what promises to be a fruitful year for both artists are the pure progressive sensibilities of 'Aria'. Captivating from the start, it's perfectly sculpted beats are warm and powerful, anchoring what is a rippling, free flowing foundation. Crafted with precision and care, layers of hypnotic percussion are blanketed with textural drifts, ghostly pads and fragmented melodies. Intrigue peaks as the main break unfolds, with hazy harmonic concepts and metallic melodies uniting for an exhilarating crescendo, before ushering in a groovy drop and hypnotic finale.

The journey continues with the reflective moods of 'Storyteller'. Nicely tied to the ethos of the EP, Hermanez and Eran marry haunting vocal refrains with meditative rhythms and tranquil textures. It's a spiritual and highly engaging storyboard, perhaps the EP's most impassioned in fact, a creation for the road home and no doubt a highly memorable selection for your dance floor.

The release is capped off in fine fashion with the chunky vibes of 'First Touch'. Immediately compelling, it's shapely bass tones and dynamic percussion play off a robust rhythmic core, making for a smooth, hip swinging groove. Its musical appeal grows subtly, as pixie-like motifs and luminous tones add an emotive slant to what is an already magical storyboard. Expertly timed, it's chugging energy melts down into a break of effervescent lines and shifty harmonics, building into a wall of melodic colour, before getting washed away in a rush of beats and percussion for a charming third movement. Groovy and emotive in equal measure, it rounds out what is an exceptional collection of music from Hermanez and Eran, one which sees the duo's creative synergy continue to grow.

Fur Coat’s Oddity label starts 2021 with a fresh edition of the acclaimed various artists “Odd Echoes Vol.4”. This instalment showcases some artists that are already known to the label, as well as many new additions to the family.

Fur Coat’s commitment to their label over the last few years has seen the imprint amass a dedicated following and an ever growing list of respected and lauded releases. Utilising their Various Artists compilations, the duo have unearthed some extremely exciting talent in this world and given emerging artists a platform to exhibit their craft.

Diving into the package we are greeted with the melodic and emotional sounds that Oddity has their recognisable stamp. Its clear though that each artist involved has developed their own signature sound and presents something unique to the VA. The first half is formed of well crafted tracks which ease us into the sound. Tracks the build and develop over time and help to kick start out musical exploration.

In true Oddity style the second half of the package leans towards darker and more driving pieces. Casting the listeners mind to the dancefloors which the tracks were meant to be played on. Its a VA formed of 21 original tracks mostly from first timers on the label, that all together solidify the identity of the series and sound of Oddity.

Steadily becoming a household & influential name for aspiring producers & forward-thinking DJs alike, Kasper Koman's unique musical identity comes from a passion to push the boundaries in sound-design along with intelligent composition techniques within the existing frame-work of underground electronic music. Highlighted by a monstrous growling low-end accompanied by a vibrato-led melody that dances around piano chords, “In Circles” creates an odyssey of emotions. The trip continues through "Wilder" - a deeper yet fierce piece with an innate sense of wanderlust through its musical storyboard, a 'call to the wild', if you will.

Release Info:
After the first V.A. of the label it's time for another regular EP. This time the Berlin based duo Klankveld provides two originals, of which 'Evolve' the title track. Both originals are impactful vocal tracks, which are a little bit less dark as usual, but still the tracks are perfectly fitting into the sound of the label. The second track, called 'Habit', got a great remix by the very talented Yuven.

The title track 'Evolve' starts off already very strong. From the first minute a catchy and danceable melody strikes the ear after which it moves over to the first vocal part. Where the vocal is soft and emotional, the musical parts are high energetic and right into the face. This together makes it a interesting and well balanced whole.

The second track, 'Habit', brings the tension and the danceability a little bit higher. Through the composition they managed to create some effective unexpected moments in which the impressive vocal plays a big part. This all reaches the pinnacle at the final part of the track.

In his remix Yuven took the vocal of the original and gave a deeper and more compelling fundament. On this fundament the vocal flows gently through the track, when suddenly the this gentle wave got broken down by a powerful and slightly aggressive moment. After this the vocal comes back in again, which brings the EP to a beautiful end.

Release Info:
The Dutch upcoming Jaden Raxel is the one who provides the 19th EP of Infinte Depth. With his characteristic fierce synth-work he created three originals of which one collaboration with the Austrian Severin Su. This collaboration is also the title track, called 'Words of Zeus'.

'Calm Before the Storm' is the first track of the EP and it immediately sets the tone with a groovy, but high tensioned and dark mood. A pleasant composition of synths is getting through at the breaks, but right at the moment you think it's going to be dreamy, the main lead hits you back. All this together forms a forceful, but still gentle, first indication of an upcoming storm.

The title track is a theatrical track representing the core of the storm in which the words of Zeus are echoing around. Jaden Raxel and Severin Su turned these words into sound and they managed to add a layer of vigorous emotions. As result of this combination the track is as overwhelming as a bank of dark clouds. Nevertheless, there is an optimistic spirit flowing through the track.

'Upper Atmosphere' can be seen as the storm arriving at its final destination. The mysterious tendency of the track lets you feel the turmoil, which is still present in the sky. The cutting synths and drums are reaching your ears through the final winds blown by this collection of tracks, forming an impactful end of the 'Words of Zeus' EP.

The mystical sounds of the masked man known as AIWASKA has found much acclaim with his glorious ‘Medicine’ release on Exploited Ghetto. Fans of the track emerged far and wide. Eelke Kleiijn creates a more urgent feel than that of the original. He takes everything that’s great about ‘Medicine’ and gives it just the right amount of boost to create a more intense dancefloor moment. The chugging, arpeggiated bass groove still drives the track, but in a more relentless fashion. The track builds through slow-burning modulation, with a driving percussion success that features off-kilter snare hits and chunky tom thumps. As the track reaches its climax, a dizzying array of sirens, rising FX and white noise tones elevate it into an explosive flurry of sound, sending shivers up the spine. It’s quite spectacular.

The secretive AIWASKA project has been receiving big support from the Burning Man community, and Damian Lazarus recently released one of his tracks through his scene-leading Crosstown Rebels imprint. There’s much more to come from this masked man. Kleijn also has his links to Burning Man, having composed the track ‘1,000 Lights’ as part of a 670 drone art piece at Burning Man 2018 in memory of festival founder, Larry Harvey.
