Los Angeles producer Nosaj Thing crafts stately, ethereal synth-based instrumental hip-hop, with influences that range from Boards of Canada and DJ Shadow to Danny Elfman and Erik Satie. An L.A. native, Jason Chung was inspired at an early age by the hip-hop radio stations that the bus driver would play on his way to elementary school, and particularly by the Beat Junkies' turntablism on Power 106. In high school, while delving into the sounds of drum'n'bass and the rave scene and playing quad toms in the school drum line, he figured out how to use his father's old PC to start programming beats of his own. Further along, Chung was motivated to move in more experimental directions by the D.I.Y. rock scene at L.A.'s underground venue The Smell, where he made his live debut as Nosaj Thing in 2004. Through online and in-person networking, on message boards and, eventually, at the more beat-oriented music spot Low End Theory, Chung came into contact with likeminded Angelenos including Flying Lotus, Nobody, Daedelus, and local legends (and personal heroes) like D-Styles and Daddy Kev. Following the self-released Views/Octopus EP in 2006 (whose track "Aquarium" was later used by rapper Kid Cudi as the basis of his "Man on the Moon"), he signed with Kev's Alpha Pup imprint for his full-length debut, Drift, in 2009. Chung has also contributed beats to MCs Busdriver and Nocando, and made remixes for Flying Lotus, Daedelus, Radiohead, and Smell staples Health.

His debut album Drift was released by Alpha Pup in June 2009 to unanimous global acclaim. Pitchfork awarded an excellent 7.9 rating, calling the album "gorgeously haunted... sonic Easter Eggs for a thousand listens." The album peaked at 5 on the iTunes Electronic chart, and went all the way to 1 on Bleep and Boomkat. The success of Drift led to Nosaj Thing being featured in magazines such as Spin, Fader, XLR8R, The New Yorker, Nylon and URB. He has received regular airplay on BBC Radio 1 and Los Angeles' KCRW, while his engaging live set has made him a staple of the worldwide underground touring circuit.

Klute is the primary recording alias of Tom Withers, the respected drum and bass Producer and DJ from London, UK.
He is also the drummer, vocalist and songwriter in the English Hardcore band The Stupids and first turned to electronic production in the early 1990s, experimenting with techno before turning to Drum and Bass. He released two 12" under the Override alias in 1995-96, as well as appearing on Ninja Tune compilations. In 1998 the debut Klute LP Casual Bodies was released on the seminal Certificate 18 imprint; Fear of People followed in 2000.
In 2001 he established the label Commercial Suicide. This released his own material, including the albums Lie, Cheat & Steal (2003), No One's Listening Anymore (2005) The Emperor's New Clothes (2007) and most recently Music for prophet (2010) . All of these albums are double CDs with one drum and bass CD and another of downtempo techno and breakbeat, and received widespread acclaim in the electronic music community. The track "Time 4 Change" from No One's Listening Anymore was the last tune played on-air by John Peel.
The label has also released tracks from artists like Amit, Break, Digital, Spirit, Calibre, Hive, SKC and Chris Su, establishing itself as one of the bigger players in drum and bass.
Klute's style of drum and bass is strongly influenced by techno. It is deep and progressive, with flavours of house, dub and trance, and frequent use of vocals. Although Klute is one of the most melodic and musical producers in drum and bass, his tracks are still typically intended for the DJ and dancefloor.
As well as releasing music on his own label, Klute has releases on Hospital Records, 31 Records, Soul:R, Metalheadz and Breakbeat Science Recordings.

Azure Ray is an American indie duo, consisting of musicians Maria Taylor and Orenda Fink. Azure Ray started in Athens, Georgia, in 2001 and later relocated to Omaha, Nebraska and joined the music scene there, leading to collaborations with Bright Eyes and Now It's Overhead, among others. Their sound is sparse and understated, with intimate lyrics, elements of alt-country and folk Americana, and occasional forays into minimalist electronica.

Azure Ray disbanded in 2004 and Maria and Orenda have released solo albums on Saddle Creek Records.

Azure Ray reunited in 2009 after a hiatus of more than five years and began touring again with other Saddle Creek artists as supporting members, notably Andy LeMaster of Now It's Overhead.

The duo released their new full-length album "Drawing Down the Moon" in the fall of 2010.

Having discovered Dubstep in 2007, DFRNT jumped at the opportunity to try his hand at production. He had worked on a number of styles in the past, all developing out of his previous production work on mashups and bootlegs. Within a few weeks, he had worked up a furious remix of Dead Prez's "Hip Hop" and with a solid base of feedback, decided to work on a number of entirely original tracks.

His previous production work under other aliases, (including mixtapes, mashups, unofficial remixes and original production from chill-out stuff, to drum & bass) has seen small success on national radio stations, in podcasts, and in clubs and around the world. Most notably a Saturday night slot on XFM's 'The Rinse' show. It was not however until DFRNT's dubstep production work surfaced that things started to get serious.

are an English alternative rock band from Abingdon, Oxfordshire. The band is composed of Thom Yorke (lead vocals, rhythm guitar, piano, beats), Jonny Greenwood (lead guitar, keyboard, other instruments), Ed O'Brien (guitar, backing vocals), Colin Greenwood (bass guitar) and Phil Selway (drums, percussion).

Radiohead released their first single, "Creep," in 1992. The song was initially unsuccessful, but it became a worldwide hit several months after the release of their debut album, Pablo Honey (1993). Radiohead's popularity rose in the United Kingdom with the release of their second album, The Bends (1995). The band's textured guitar parts and Yorke's falsetto singing were warmly received by critics and fans. Radiohead's third album, OK Computer (1997), propelled them to greater international fame. Kid A (2000) and Amnesiac (2001) marked a change in the band's musical style. Hail to the Thief (2003), a mix of guitar-driven rock, electronics and lyrics inspired by headlines, was the band's final album for their major record label, EMI. Radiohead have sold approximately 30 million albums as of 2008.

El Perro del Mar is the solo project of singer/songwriter Sarah Assbring from Gothenburg, Sweden. Her music could be described as melancholic lo-fi pop.

From 2004 to late 2005, her records had only been released by the Swedish label, HYBRIS. But in 2006, Sarah experienced a host of new found success when her self-titled album El Perro del Mar was picked up by UK-based label, Memphis Industries, under which Dungen and The Go! Team also release. Prior to the self-titled album, Sarah had recorded and released Look! It's El Perro del Mar! and the EP, You Gotta Give to Get, in Spring 2005 and November 2005 respectively.

In an era of homogeneous hip hop, the music of Kieren Dickins -- better known as his on-stage alter ego DELS -- comes as a breath of proverbial fresh air. DELS' signature sound belies a truly eclectic range of musical influences, from his days in a two-step garage band as a teenager, to a long-standing creative partnership with Joe Goddard from electro-pop wonder team Hot Chip. Having been discovered at the tender age of 16 by the legendary John Peel, DELS continued to make music whilst developing his natural artistic ability as a graphic design & illustration student. Majesty, as well as gigs at festivals including Glastonbury, Transmusicales and Big Chill. Having featured heavily on the acclaimed 'Kwesachu' mixtape by production wunderkinds Micachu and Kwes, DELS is currently working on his own debut album, which will be released on the appropriately genre-defying Big Dada/Ninja Tune label in February 2011.
