Signing exclusively to Hospital Records in 2011, Austrian duo Camo & Krooked step up with the first single in the build up to their debut long player, and in doing so secure their status as one of the hottest things in D+B / dubstep.
Renowned for their turbo charged DJ sets, high-octane slammers and dense, energetic production style, Camo & Krooked a.k.a Reinhard Reitsch and Markus Wagner are undeniably a force to be reckoned with on the dancefloor.
Dubstep reigns supreme on A-side 'All Fall Down' - a searing 140bpm banger with a trancey intro, bellowing synths and glossy vocal input by John B collaborator Shaz-Sparks. An anthem in the making, 'All Fall Down' brings together the classic Hospital hands-in-the-air factor with huge hooks, crushing snares and murky bassline pressure to enormous effect.

The first single to be taken from Fred V & Grafix forthcoming debut LP. Recognise showcases these two young producers at the peak of their game.
Combining prodigious song-writing, epic musicality and dancefloor sensibility, 'Recognise' eschews the predictable structure of todays identikit D+B and opens with intricate arpeggios and skittering beats. Evolving into an ambitious and complex composition featuring lead vocals from Fred V himself.
Simultaneously intellectual and effortless, it's a breath of fresh air that builds on the success of Fred V & Grafix previous successes 'Major Happy', 'Games People Play' and the current 'Catch My Breath',
Receiving its debut airplay on Annie Mac's Friday night Radio One show, Fred V & Grafix count Subfocus, Netsky, Mistajam and B Traits as fans.
Young gun Emperor applies his twisted neurofunk genius to the remix for this package, choosing to frontload the song and harmonic structure before descending with a Spartan bassline workout and rugged tick-tock drums which will have every 21st century junglist grinning from ear to ear.
Fellow South-Western young guns Panda drop the tempo and flip the genre with their own sublime take on the original to round off the package.

https://NetskyHospital.lnk.to/SecondNatureyc
Dance music icon Netsky has taken the drum & bass scene by storm since the announcement of his highly anticipated return to Hospital Records for his fourth studio album. ‘Second Nature’ represents Netsky’s everlasting love for his D&B roots that has sent shockwaves throughout the dance community. His journey comes full circle as his brand new record marks the 10 year anniversary since his self-titled Hospital debut, with collaborations on the 18-track long-player from Sub Focus, Becky Hill, Rudimental, Hybrid Minds, and Urbandawn to name a few. ‘Second Nature’ is teed up to be a remarkable and seminal release for drum & bass lovers around the world.
Bringing his classic liquid sound into 2020 alongside New Zealand based prodigy Montell2099 who has worked with the likes of Diplo, 21 Savage, Lil Wayne and Mr. Carmack, future bass meets Netsky’s signature soulful groove on ‘Mixed Emotions’, paying tribute to New Zealand and the love and support he has received there over the past decade of his career as an artist and DJ.
Multi Brit-Award winning drum & bass powerhouse Rudimental and their official vocalist Afronaut Zu jump into the picture for ‘Blend’, which sees groove filled vocals rolled out alongside a slick bassline, vibrant trumpets, Netsky’s feel-good melodies, and Rudimental’s signature uplifting style.
Covering the Deniece Williams classic, ‘Free’ is reminiscent of Netsky’s love for funk & soul, introduced by his father from a young age, that can also be felt in ‘I Choose You’ (a cover of Willie Hutch’s ‘I Choose You) and ‘Everybody Loves The Sunshine’ (feat. Chantal Kashala & Daddy Waku)’ (covering Roy Ayers’ ‘Everybody Loves The Sunshine’). ‘Free’ takes you back to the original sounds of Netsky with a trademark liquid bassline and unforgettable brass topline, as sincere vocals and old school breakbeats tie the track together into a nostalgic number infused with the sounds of today.
‘Look At Me Go’ features breakbeat and UK hardcore champion Darren Styles. This four to the floor slammer with its thumping kick drum and catchy vocal sample has already received support from the likes of Sub Focus and Dimension. Coming together with Hospital’s very own Urbandawn, ‘Power’ sees the epic collision of two heavyweights as halftime drums and a slapping double bass kick start the jam, followed by the takeover of sweltering synths and sonically searing drums.
‘Destiny’ is a high voltage dancefloor anthem as Netsky joins forces with fellow drum & bass stalwart Sub Focus with Jozzy on the vocals. Big room synths inject energising vibrations on this electrifying cut which truly is a collaboration of legends. Plus, soulful pianos are paired with the unifying vocals of Becky Hill as she throws back to her second nature, and graces her first drum & bass track for several years on the heartfelt banger ‘Hold On’.

Logistics, one of Hospital Records’ most prolific artists, is back with his seventh studio album ‘Hologram’. Inspired by his travels to Hong-Kong and New Zealand, this universally admired drum & bass figure presents a vibrant 16-track collection soaked in his signature groove, soul and liquid-funk stylings.
Opening track ‘Lotus Flower’ sets a warm springtime tone with fluttering harp-like arpeggios and atmospheric pads. ‘Broken Light’ follows on from the success that singer/songwriter Thomas Oliver brought on Logistics’ collaborative LP with brother Nu:Tone. A sombre tone matched with melancholic lyrics bring a blissful beat to the album.
Keeping true to the craft, ‘Chant’ flips to Logistics’ jungle style with molten-hot flair. A powerful punch of expertly sliced breaks and vocal stabs are the ingredients for this dancefloor weapon.
It’s safe to say that this has been worth the wait. Although titled from the ever-growing illusion of the digital-age, ‘Hologram’ is an example of Logistics’ very real talent and is a welcomed addition to his impressive repertoire of drum & bass classics. Quantity, quality and a fierce musical character is everything we have come to expect from this Hospital staple.

See what happens when a group of Hospital fans from Newcastle decided to undertake a road trip all the way to Let It Roll in the Czech Republic!
Music taken from Logistics - 'Polyphony': http://hospi.tl/polyphony26
Here's a bit from them:
We drove from Newcastle to Dover picking various people up on the way. We caught an overnight ferry to Calais and continued driving into Belgium, where we slept in a lorry parking lot on the side of the motorway. The next day we continued through to Germany where we attended Annafest in Forchheim. This was the first beer festival I had ever been to and its safe to say I will be going back!
After another 'comfortable' nights sleep in the car we drove into the Czech Republic for a night out in Prague. This nights events stay with those who were unfortunate enough to witness them.... the next morning we gathered our wits and made our way to LET IT ROLL!
The festival was incredible, such friendly, happy people and the music blew me away!
I hope my film gives you some idea of the what it was like to undertake this journey!

We are devastated at the loss of our friend, artist, and family member Diane Charlemagne. Diane was a leading light in underground dance music; from her days in Urban Cookie Collective, touring with Moby, to the era-defining “Inner City Life” with Goldie, Diane went on to become an unmatchable benchmark of true soulfulness.
At Hospital, we have been blessed to work with her for over 13 years. Diane shaped and sculpted outstanding vocal moments with Cyantific, Sonic, Friction, High Contrast and S.P.Y, alongside live tours with London Elektricity and Netsky.

Fred V & Grafix, together with the help of Hospital’s A&R hit squad have stylishly curated a collection of d+b talent to re-work tracks from their critically acclaimed debut album, which was released earlier this year.
Featuring the Fred V vocalled single ‘Recognise’, as well as the Radio One playlisted ‘Forest Fires (feat Etherwood), the album ‘Recognise’ was nominated for ‘Album of the Year’ at the Independent Music Awards - alongside the likes of London Grammar and The Arctic Monkeys.
Eschewing obvious names in favour of cutting-edge artists who are already shaping the future of the genre. The likes of Etherwood, Keeno, Chords and Fredric Robinson represent a new generation, bringing a fresh injection of musical genius to d+b.
On top of the twelve remixes Fred V & Grafix also present one brand new track in the shape of ‘3-D Glasses’. The first new material from the boys since February, it’s a slice of warping triplet time d+b that mines a the current vogue of classical influenced dance music.
Since the albums release Fred V & Grafix have been touring the globe nonstop, playing gigs and festivals from Glastonbury to LA. Finding time in between gigs to turn in remixes for the likes of MNEK, Second City, Netsky and Hybrid.

To mark their 25th year as one of the most esteemed imprints in dance music, Hospital Records head into 2021 with a groundbreaking selection of 25 brand new remixes, reworks, covers and VIPs of NHS classics, combining pinnacle Hospital figures and friends of the label for an all-encompassing celebration of drum & bass.
‘H25PITAL’ embarks on a journey throughout the past, present and future of Hospital Records, featuring the likes of Dillinja, S.P.Y, Flava D, DJ Marky, Unglued, Makoto, Loxy & Ink, Mitekiss, Nookie and more. Their quarter-century birthday commemorations raise the bar once again as a variety of sounds and styles come together for a 174BPM compilation like no other.
DRS & Dynamite, two legends who have taken the scene by storm with their collaborative outfit, team up with Logistics for a new-wave remix of the 2009 heater ‘Jungle Music’. Wordsmiths by nature, DRS & Dynamite lay down carefully crafted bars paying homage to their love for jungle and its roots over Logistics’ revamped instrumental.
Stepping up for remix duties on Danny Byrd’s iconic ‘Salute (feat. MC GQ)’ is none other than the king of the amen, Remarc offering his clear cut production skill. Breaks processed to perfection and an unruly bassline are fused flawlessly with elements of the original, including the nostalgia-inducing horns and illustrious vocals of drum & bass veteran GQ.
An instantly recognisable anthem to any drum & bass fan and an undeniable staple in the Hospital Records back catalogue, ‘Beautiful Lies’ by B-Complex gets the remix treatment from L-Side who’s been making moves with the V Recordings crew. The future meets a classic as minimal bouncing drum work and ripping bass stabs instil bursts of brand new energy into the track.
Expect a collision of sonic realms in Halogenix’s remix of Kings Of The Rollers’ infamous ‘Shella (feat. Chimpo)’. Flying the flag for the Critical Music family, Halogenix’s 2021 rendition which has been generating excitement from corner to corner in the world of drum & bass for some time now unleashes an absolute growler of a bassline as Manchester’s very own Chimpo dominates the topline.
The highly sought after VIP of Metrik’s ‘Cadence (feat. Reija Lee)’ is finally seeing the light of day. Dreamlike synthesis and ravishing vocals build a picturesque soundscape which soon evolves into Metrik’s signature high-octane flow as he delivers cutting-edge dancefloor vibes.
Calling upon pioneers of the scene, from Dillinja’s remix of Urbandawn’s ‘Come Together (feat. Tyson Kelly)’ to Ray Keith’s weighty interpretation of ‘Drum & Bossa’ by Landslide, as well as trailblazing newcomers including the likes of Winslow and Stay-C, the cross-generational sounds of drum & bass are united in one place on ‘H25PITAL’. Brace yourself for a full spectrum adventure and then some, as Hospital Records embrace their impressive 25-year milestone in style.

Krakota, one of Hospital Records’ most electrifying DJs, returns to the fold after his incredible debut album ‘Strange System’ with his long-awaited ‘See For Miles’ EP. More than ever before, his production provides a versatile set of drum & bass styles with a devilish 4-track concoction of upfront danger and liquid grace.
Kicking the EP straight into gear is the absolute screamer ‘Hot Rain’. Prepare for this track to steamroll through a system with its relentless bassline and rare vocal feature from Reprazent legend and Hospital hype-man Dynamite MC.
‘Call Back’, however, rolls out smoother than butter, adding funk flavours to the EP and makes for the perfect juxtaposition to his full-throttle bangers. Keeping up the tempo is another weapon for the club ‘Fever Dreams’. Wobbly sub and rugged mid-range bass notes work together in this up-front stepper.
The final and title track ‘See for Miles’ sees this release home with elegance and grace. Depth, musicality, exquisite progression and a humming bassline.

Ownglow’s journey began back in the hot deserts of Flagstaff, Arizona where the breathtaking San Francisco Peaks first inspired his debut EP ‘A Walk To Remember’. By infusing any sound around him Ownglow’s style breathes a rare and raw quality into drum & bass from snares of forest sticks, white noise of high school hallways, crashing waves of San Diego beaches and samples of a Six Flags rollercoaster.
The EP follows Ownglow on his path so far. A gorgeous fluttering vocal in ‘Angels Sing’ reflects the beautiful views of the Pacific Surfliner journey that he took while writing the track. All the way to ‘The Night Is Still Young’ pieced together - with another exciting young talent Blake - after a night out at one of east London’s drum & bass residencies.
Ownglow’s ambition left him to pick up and leave home at 15. While sofa-surfing around LA he realized his love for electronic music and the dream of working with Hospital Records. Since then he’s immersed himself in the world of drum & bass making a huge move to the UK.

Hidden under Canada’s ice-cold slopes is a core community of producers, DJs, fans and followers, all playing an essential role in supporting and growing Canada’s eclectic underground mountain of drum & bass. In ‘The Future Sound of Canada’ EP the Hospital Records team draw out its key players to keep an eye on, adding six tracks from Schematic, Polaris, Gremlinz and Levrige to their worldwide series.
Leading the EP are two serious solo artists who’s combined discography boasts releases on Drumsound & Bassline Smith’s imprint Technique Recordings and Toronto-based Inner City Dance. As an equally powerful production pairing, Schematic & Polaris have delivered ‘Conduit’ to the EP - a serene trip through deep, melodic drum & bass. Also take notice of their equally special solo offerings: Polaris’ ‘The Light In Your Eyes’ and Schematic’s hypnotic ‘Learn From The Past’ featuring Victor Davies.
Gremlinz - another Toronto talent - switches the EP from ethereal liquid to solid sonic sound waves with ‘Tactical Rail’, matching raw and rapid old-skool drum work with sinister siren calls. Then we come to the Levrige duo, a new project started by valiant Vancouver titans J.F.Killah and Erski who’ve brought an intriguing futuristic jungle, half time style to the mix with ‘The Legend’. Simplistic keys paired with complex percussions finishes up the EP in Stranjah’s ‘Gideon’.
The 2016 revival of the ‘Future Sound of’ series draws to a close after connecting a multitude of drum & bass talent from America, Brazil, Holland and now Canada. All four fresh EPs are a triumph in the discovery of the next generation of producers and only further prove the unstoppable global reach of the genre, all spearheaded by its leading independent label, Hospital Records.
