Serbian phenom Vintage & Morelli has emerged as a singular talent on our roster. His extraordinary and truly unique compositional style, on which he has worked tirelessly over the last 15 years, combines elements of house, progressive, trance, and downtempo into vivid, cinematic soundscapes that never fail to move the listener. Since releasing "My Rose Enchanted Destiny," his debut artist album, over 3 years ago, his career has reached new heights, thanks to a consistent output of acclaimed singles and EPs on our label, as well as various contributions to the likes of Anjunabeats, Armada, and FSOE. On the heels of live dates in Australia and The Netherlands, Vintage & Morelli will tour the States for the first time this summer, as the main headliner of our Silk Music Showcase #500 Tour.

Needless to say, the stage is set for the arrival of "Hymn To The Night," his greatly anticipated second artist album. Representing the pinnacle of Vintage & Morelli's musical development, the album offers a full spectrum of his composition gifts, from gorgeous orchestral and breaks tracks to a significant amount of peak-hour progressive house and trance cuts. That's not all: his long-standing collaborator Arielle Maren, the extraordinary American singer-songwriter who has graced so many of Vintage & Morelli's most famous works, makes a tremendous contribution to this record, with her characteristically stirring lyrics and vocals gracing no less than five of the tracks on this album, including the singles "Breathe" and "Lonely Shore," the latter also featuring instrumental touches from renowned producer RNX. Canadian singer-songwriter Brandon Mignacca also appears twice on the album; his recent work with Sound Quelle introduced his beautiful songwriting and vocal performances to our community, and his collaborations with Vintage & Morelli on this album -- "Love Is" and "Bloom" -- profoundly and poignantly celebrate the healing power of love. There is quite literally a song for all electronic music tastes on "Hymn To The Night," and Vintage & Morelli pours his soul into each and every track, with sweeping instrumental motifs decorating the canvas of each arrangement. It is our extraordinary honor to present this album to our Silk Music Family, as well as new fans of emotive electronic music from across the globe.

2019 was a breakthrough year for Vintage & Morelli, as he not only dropped his acclaimed artist album ("Hymn To The Night"), but also headlined our Silk Music Showcase #500 Tour across six US cities this past summer. V&M's longtime friend and muse Arielle Maren proved to be a major contributor to "Hymn To The Night," with five official collaborations on the album.

One of their standout tracks together, "Lonely Shore," now receives the remix treatment from celebrated veteran duo Blood Groove & Kikis, as well as the legendary RNX (aka Robert Nickson), who co-produced the original version of the track. In the final analysis, all three versions of "Lonely Shore" offer unique arrangements that fall somewhere along the progressive electronic music spectrum, but the radiant melodies and ineffably affecting vocals of Arielle Maren shine through them all.

A.M.R, the extraordinarily gifted Qatari composer and DJ, has awed our label community in recent years, with a delicate and deep signature sound that is at once timeless and transcendent. Blending elements of deep house, downtempo, progressive house, and even orchestral music, his versatile, multifaceted compositions are capable of bringing you out on the dancefloor in one moment and inducing serene meditation in the next. It is our great privilege to present "A Place For Everything," A.M.R's debut album.

It begins and closes with stirring orchestral pieces, which bookend an otherwise more rhythmically inclined aural experience. Standout 4/4 cuts like "Sailor's Cry," "Hidden Sun," and "Crystal Fountain" feature achingly beautiful vocal textures, if not full verses and choral sections. Worthy of special note, Canadian singer-songwriter Brandon Mignacca delivers an extraordinary lyrical and vocal performance on "Fell Out Of Love," a deep-tinged ballad.

The "A Place For Everything" album journey is pure and poignant from start to finish, a reflection of A.M.R's extraordinary artistic gifts, not to mention his own sensitivity and sincerity, as a human being. It is our great joy to share this release with Silk Music fans and, more generally, the global electronic music community, especially those inclined toward highly affecting music.

Back in 2017, English deep and progressive phenom Marsh, who now regularly contributes to the renowned Anjunadeep imprint, treated us to his extraordinary debut album, "Life On The Shore." Replete with his signature introspective, melancholic and lush melodies, the album proved to be a groundbreaking work of art that catapulted Marsh's career to a new plateau. Since the August 2017 release of "The Midnight Remixed," one of the most thrilling and spiritually rewarding endeavors in our label's history, Tim McEwan and Tyler Lyle, better known as The Midnight, have released a #1 Billboard Dance album ("Kids") and toured much of North America, Europe, and Australia. It is safe to say that the acclaimed discography and global popularity of the Los Angeles and Atlanta-based duo have both grown dramatically, since we at Silk Music last had the privilege of developing and releasing new remixes of their indelible tunes. Indeed, The Midnight is currently in the midst of another world tour, which will take them through the United States, Europe, and ultimately, Mexico, near the end of this year.

Flash forward to today, as we joyously announce the sequel, "The Midnight Remixed 02," featuring brand new remixes of more favorites by The Midnight, from "The Years" (off their debut EP, "Days Of Thunder") to "Lost Boy" (the first single from their most recent LP, "Kids"). This time around, we have recruited a cast of (almost) entirely fresh faces on remix detail, including legendary synthwave artist Timecop1983, indie-electronic phenom Uppermost, acclaimed retro-tinged act ERKKA, and deep-and-dark-progressive maestro Nox Vahn. Russian sensation PROFF, the only artist to appear on both 'Remixed' editions, offers a visionary take on "Kids" that brims with creativity, power, and musicality alike. Rounding out the extraordinary roster of remix artists, Silk Music veterans Claes Rosen, Dan Sieg, Kobana, Blood Groove & Kikis, Jayeson Andel, and A.M.R all deliver emotive and inspired renderings, ranging in style from introspective deep house cuts to cinematic-electronic power ballads. We are truly overjoyed to finally reveal these emotive and intelligent new takes on eleven more of The Midnight's celebrated classics, all of which have never been remixed before.

Indonesian artist LTN joins Arrival for the label's 54th release, with his track "A Path To Nowhere". On remix duty is veteran German artist Jerome Isma-Ae, who was appointed "breakthrough artist of the year" by Armin van Buuren, and others, in 2010. He is now considered one of the international leaders of house and progressive, with countless top 10 singles and globally supported tracks to his credit.

The original mix quickly establishes an enjoyable atmosphere, including a vast array of gorgeous synth elements, percussion structures, and a lush bassline. The break sees the introduction of soothing pad layers, and the unique theme lead follows shortly thereafter.

Jerome's interpretation starts off with his signature percussion groove, and the melody riffs from the original slowly build up in the background. After the break, the theme melody arrives in full force and adds to the already jubilant soundscape.

Sound Quelle's 2018 has been nothing short of remarkable: following significant radio support from the likes of Armin van Buuren and Above & Beyond, his recent career-defining mini-album ("Ethereal") earned him guest mix duties on a recent episode of the latter's celebrated "Group Therapy" podcast and radio show. It is our great pleasure to co-pilot "Badoor," another soulful and evocative deep-progressive offering from the Russian phenom.

Recently featured on "Arrival 01: Destination United Kingdom", "Moments" from German artist BXT is now available as a full single release, including "White Lynx" as the B-side.

The title cut quickly establishes a firm beat with pleasant background vocal stems. A truly energetic bassline enters the mix shortly after, and is surrounded by an array of intriguing pad layers and intermittent piano notes. The break introduces the memorable and quite energetic theme riff, which goes extremely well with the piano and bassline melodies. The B-side, "White Lynx", introduces a lush atmosphere, including numerous soothing melodies and intricate sound effects. The piano melody that emerges in the break fits brilliantly with the powerful theme riff.

The melodic, life-affirming progressive house and chillout music of Alex "Mango" Golovanov inspired us to start a label in 2008. Alex went on to launch his own imprint, Mango Alley, several years later, but he remains a frequent Silk contributor. We look back upon his classics via Max Flyant's retrospective DJ mix, a touching tribute to his dear friend of many years.
