Quintessential stadium anthems are Delta Heavy's forte and 'Reborn' demonstrates how they've gained this reputation. Setting show stopping-agendas since their first release on the RAM imprint, this next one is no different, however, a cinematic roller isn't all this release has to offer. With remixes from Spoils and June Miller, there's a colour reel of sound spinning throughout; a host of tracks to suit every palette.
'Reborn' embodies exactly what Delta Heavy represents as a collaborative project. An arpeggio of notes leads delicately into emotionally charged vocals, pedestalling the record and creating a musically picturesque backdrop. With the undertow of a pounding morphine bassline and the relentless instrumentation of jungle infused drums, there's no mistaking the artists' nod towards their harder productions. Epic, timeless and puffed out with a grandeur composition, Delta Heavy have yet to disappoint.
On the remixes, June Miller carefully crafts their take against the original, uncompromising yet delicately woven and not without its predecessors' emotional crescendo. And lastly, Spoils introduces us to a genre-infused uptake that catches you unaware, with a steppy melody which stays true to its roots yet delves deep into Spoil's production aptitude.
So once again, it's time to take up Delta Heavy's offerings. They've delivered the perfect successor to their 'Apollo EP', yet again reasserting their title as one of the bass scene's heavyweights.

Destination Barcelona: the creative HQ of Lower & Osp. Two artists, notating our uncertain times with a poignant, emotion-rich signature that taps deep into some of electronic music's most evocative rudiments.

Previously spotted on the likes of Deeperfect, Moan Recordings, Bla Bla and Solar Distance, here they make their MOOD debut with two show-stopping compositions. 'Universe Gate' is a hurricane of a production as it subtly sets an atmosphere only to whip it up uncontrollably in a blink-and-miss build that's strong enough to open portals into whole new dimensions.

'Recycled', meanwhile, smelts down a slug-like bassline, rising chords and sweeping synths into a string-soaking emotional breakdown. With a broadside groove that pumps and sparkling hi-hat roll that accentuates the momentum and drive, for a tune called 'Recycled' it's resoundingly fresh… Just like the future for Lower & Osp. Since the August 2017 release of "The Midnight Remixed," one of the most thrilling and spiritually rewarding endeavors in our label's history, Tim McEwan and Tyler Lyle, better known as The Midnight, have released a #1 Billboard Dance album ("Kids") and toured much of North America, Europe, and Australia. It is safe to say that the acclaimed discography and global popularity of the Los Angeles and Atlanta-based duo have both grown dramatically, since we at Silk Music last had the privilege of developing and releasing new remixes of their indelible tunes. Indeed, The Midnight is currently in the midst of another world tour, which will take them through the United States, Europe, and ultimately, Mexico, near the end of this year.

Flash forward to today, as we joyously announce the sequel, "The Midnight Remixed 02," featuring brand new remixes of more favorites by The Midnight, from "The Years" (off their debut EP, "Days Of Thunder") to "Lost Boy" (the first single from their most recent LP, "Kids"). This time around, we have recruited a cast of (almost) entirely fresh faces on remix detail, including legendary synthwave artist Timecop1983, indie-electronic phenom Uppermost, acclaimed retro-tinged act ERKKA, and deep-and-dark-progressive maestro Nox Vahn. Russian sensation PROFF, the only artist to appear on both 'Remixed' editions, offers a visionary take on "Kids" that brims with creativity, power, and musicality alike. Rounding out the extraordinary roster of remix artists, Silk Music veterans Claes Rosen, Dan Sieg, Kobana, Blood Groove & Kikis, Jayeson Andel, and A.M.R all deliver emotive and inspired renderings, ranging in style from introspective deep house cuts to cinematic-electronic power ballads. We are truly overjoyed to finally reveal these emotive and intelligent new takes on eleven more of The Midnight's celebrated classics, all of which have never been remixed before.
