Rameses B - Play To Win (Feat. Holly Drummond)

TeArs
3 Views · 4 years ago

It's been a dream of mine to make music for games, this is my first officially licensed track for a huge game that I played a lot when it first came out. Rocket League is awesome and I'll most likely get back into it again. I wouldn't have had this opportunity if it wasn't for Monstercat and everyone who's pushed my tunes up to now so big respect for that. This is also my first attempt at making a future bass track and Holly's vocals make it a dream so show her some love!

Lyrics:

VERSE 1

I’ve got you hanging on my words,
Taste so sweet even when they hurt.

PRE-CHORUS
You wanna feel, wanna fall in love,
wanna give, give it all up
But you don’t want to lose, your control, control.

CHORUS

Are we playing this game oh,
are we playing this game.
Are you too afraid, or are you giving in.
Let the games begin, cause I play to win.

VERSE 2

You fear that love is hard to find,
Not in your heart, but in your mind.

CHORUS

Are we playing this game oh,
are we playing this game.
Are you too afraid, or are you giving in.
Let the games begin, cause I play to win.

After creating the piano improvisation of Memoirs, a few of you asked to make it into a proper production. So I thought why not make it into a cinematic experience and offer it as a free bonus track to go along with the release of the EP, which is out today.

Vicetone ft. Collin Mcloughlin - Heartbeat (Rameses B Remix)

TeArs

Beatport: http://www.beatport.com/releas....e/heartbeat-the-remi

I was approached by Vicetone's manager to make an official remix of their track 'Heartbeat'. After I'd been given the vocal parts I knew exactly what feel I was going for, matching the power and emotion of the vocals with the music. It took over 100 channels of audio, a LOT of time, but this is how it turned out and hopefully it shows!

Final Fantasy VII - Aerith's Theme (Rameses B Remix) [LoFi]

TeArs

Free Download: http://bit.ly/ff7remix
My first LoFi Chill Hop track is a cover of one of my favourite songs in video games - Aerith's Theme from Final Fantasy VII and the remake is just around the corner..

Since I'm in the process of moving my studio to my new place, music production has been somewhat slow but I haven't let it stop me, it seems I can still make LoFi stuff through my headphones until I get my studio acoustically treated. At least for now I can focus on songwriting and then move on to the technical stuff in the coming weeks :)

Lyrics:
How long must i wait until the rush
your love kickstarts my veins.
The cold night air flows within it's whisper, pulling me in taking me out of yesterday.
Painted across in black and white,
the trouble makes the flame ignite.
You're moving slowly forward into night life city life. High I fly, and fall out of the sky I try
ignore but i cant put aside the world just passes me by. Hear me out in silence they cant hear me shout,
Your love will reassure my doubt forever and always.
Call my bluff it makes no sense,
never find my absent innocent.
Take me out i have no doubt,
the rush is here to sort me out.
Painted across in black and white,
your ignorance it blinds my sight
moving slowly forward into nightlife city life.
