Almost 30 years since the original queen of the Jungle, DJ Rap released 'Divine Rhythm'
A certified classic & one of many that set the blueprint for what later became know as Jungle. This old skool anthem has had the remix treatment from Dope Ammo & it's everything you'd hope it would be. All the elements of the original are there, even the old skool breakbeat & tempo on the build up & breakdown but you definitely know it's 2021 once it drops & rolls out. A really well done, modern take on a piece of rave history. Out now on Propa Talent. ℹ️

He's a name who doesn't release often, but when he does, there's no questioning his ability. We're talking about Ben Snow – a name that has been on the lips of countless ravers ever since he shot onto the scene with his much-loved "Out In The Streets" single back in 2019, an anthem that has been tearing up the dance ever since.

Already with a Born on Road EP to his name in 'With You' Ben Snow is returning to the label with the familiar wubs and questionable basslines we all admire him for. Whether it's the ferocious wobs of "Fight Club" or the ridiculous switch up on "Out Of Time", there's no denying Ben Snow is back on Born On Road with a disgusting wallop! ℹ️

Qua Rush is a rising talent who makes some incredible music, this track 'One Nation Under A Breakbeat' is taken from his stunning new 'Glance EP' on Flight Pattern Records. This one he partners up with another bright star Frame who has also an impressive catalogue, most notably on his native Italy's 'The Dreamers' record label. This tune oozes summer soulful vibes & we all love an Amen, especially when executed as good as this. ℹ️

A work 12 months in the making, Alex Lentini & STOMP BOXX deliver a standout EP debut.

The Italian pair – living at the extreme opposites of their country’s ‘boot’ will be new names to the Drumcode faithful. They first appeared on the label in December 2020, with a strong contribution to A-Sides Vol.10 titled ‘Expanders’.

So impressed was Adam Beyer with their productions, a fulsome debut EP was secured soon after. ‘Fine Line’ was conceived in the final stages of 2019. With the extra studio time lockdown provided, the duo enjoyed a creative freefall,
allowing them to refine a five-track work that sits at the intersection of home-listening techno and dancefloor functionalism.

‘Natural Desire’ has a definable spunk to it, as pulsating chords undulate towards a breathy pad-laden finish. ‘Shifting Soul’ is exquisite, as crunchy drums and a rousing vocal ensure it’s a memorable addition to the Drumcode canon. The title track is colourful and thrilling in equal doses, as muscular synth lines coalesce alongside pin-sharp rhythms.
‘Altered Cycle’ is skilfully composed and marked by a stirring melodic lead and funky percussive underbelly. ‘Curved Blade’ is abrasive and gritty, before a dreamy spoken word interlude arouses an introspective mood. A fitting soundtrack for our times.

“2020 was both strange and terrible, especially for music lovers. But it gave us enough time to carve out this collaboration. At this point a wonderful compromise arouse between our two different sound visions. It happened without too many thoughts and in a very natural way.” – Alex Lentini & STOMP BOXX .

Drumcode is more than a label, it’s a movement. Founded by Adam Beyer, it stands as the highest selling and most influential imprint in techno, has spawned a radio show listened to by millions each week, and a global events brand hosting festivals and events throughout Europe, North and South America. Adam Beyer’s unwavering commitment to quality, combined with a future-focused ethos are the cornerstone of the brand’s success. His definition of techno is open-minded and expansive, while resolutely refusing to compromise on the smallest detail with every aspect of Drumcode’s output.

Truesoul’s most capped contributor, Reset Robot, delivers another supreme EP.

Dave Robertson (aka Reset Robot) is a treasured label asset, his association with Adam Beyer stretching back a decade. Over the years he’s gifted the imprint 10 EPs and an album ‘Let Your Soul Outside’ in 2014, his talent and crisp sound signature shining through.

For his twelfth Truesoul offering, ‘Cosmic String’, he lays down a trio of winners. ‘Opto’ is industrial and trippy in equal measures, managing to avoid any possible pigeon-hole, while crying out to be utilised in a variety of musical scenarios. The title track is true to its name; organic bass tones and a soft melodic core spiral into otherworldly realms thanks to a tweaked-out string section that amplifies the track’s impact. ‘Romeo’ is a low-end modular exploration, which still embodies an innate musicality. .
