Trust Audio celebrate 5 years in the game this year & have made big moves in 2021 with a new look, logo & rebranding to add that finishing touch to what is already a mighty fine catalogue of music. This track is by a new artist called Witzen & man what a debut. The track is called 'Shop Run' & it is one of four tracks on the Tribes Vol.7 EP.

Shop Run is up there as one of our favourite tracks of the year so far, the jazzy sax licks & wobbly bass tones are just so slick & tastefully done...tune is off the scale on the vibeometer. Production levels are peak & the word is Witzen was a student of Trex, the Trust Audio bossman, so no wonder he signed this track on sight.

Dark Ops aka Section & Flashback have released a little gem of an EP on OB1's Rebel Music called 'Forces EP'. Rebel Music is a staple in the London junglists calendar with their club night promotions & events that have been serving up their brand of no nonsense DnB for a hot minute.

Now they are 31 releases deep in their impressive catalogue so far. Dark Ops fits in nicely into the Rebel groove, with their darker, hard edge style but still carrying a soulful vibe.

Now we are going back, way back to the very early 90's & before Jungle was even a thing and Drum & Bass was a mere generic term used to describe the dub version or riddim track of a Reggae tune or pretty much any genre for that matter.

Back then, in 91, the raw breakbeat infused high energy style of house music coming from the UK was simply known as Hardcore.

Kaotic Chemistry aka 2 Bad Mice were responsible for some of the most seminal & groundbreaking Hardcore music of that era with many of those tracks standing the test of time today.

KC/2BM were very much part of the Movin Shadow stable, who were at the forefront of this musical revolution, alongside other pioneering labels like Reinforced, Sub Base & of course Metalheadz, who came a bit later following the masterpiece that was Terminator by Goldie that introduced us to the iconic Metalheadz logo. Goldie very much coming from the school of 4 Hero, Doc Scott, Randall & all at Reinforced Records, where Metalheadz founder Goldie honed his craft as the collective Rufige Kru.

Fast forward 30 years & Metalheadz have had some of those classics remixed for a special 25th Anniversay edition. This Madcap remix of Drum Trip is my pick but to be honest they are all top drawer, as you would expect. ℹ️

We continue to present new faces to the scene. This time we welcome Will Canas from Texas, United States to our label. It is Will's first release ever and he makes his debut with a powerful Progressive Trance track titled 'Find Our Way'.

The original track combines great chords with a nice melody accompanied by a strong bassline. Definitely a track that can shine in clubs or radioshows.

Vintage & Morelli who released stunning music on labels like Arrival or Enhanced this year is giving us an incredible interpretation of 'Find Our Way'. His remix gives you everything what quality Progressive Trance music should be all about.

Nerutto who is part of the Progressive House scene for many years now contributes the second remix of this EP. He added a lovely melodic feeling to the track and it's bassline
is truly a highlight.
