Starting off this liquid drum & bass mix with the title track of the sensational new EP from Chillhomers out now on Live History Recordings, "Kind Of Love" featuring Tracy Thorne leads the way. Locked with a stone cold classic, "Poseidon" by Spectrasoul dropped on Deep Soul Music in the summer of 2009. Up in third spot is a man who has obliterated his way through this latter half of the year and thrown down some of the best material to grace the liquid dnb scene in 2020, Colossus, with an unreleased beast of a dubplate in the form of "All Hours". Neuron's "My Love" in fourth spot is taken from the "Treatment Vol. 2" various artists compilation available now via the DNB Database. Going back to man of the moment, Colossus, he took on a delectable bootleg of leavv's "Mind Garden", currently up for free download on his Soundcloud, link for that below. Going back to the aforementioned "Treatmement" LP, "Energy Flow" by Zealous is up in fifth spot. Huge love going out to Detached Audio on their 5th birthday, to celebrate that milestone there's a 4 track EP out tomorrow (11/12) featuring the monstrous "Buried Treasure" by Bay 6 boss Echo Motion. Sticking with the topic of both labels, Detached Audio boss K2T recently teamed up with Rounder & Option on their forthcoming double release which is due to be released on Bay 6 Recordings this December 18th, "Heat Stroke" rolls in at 45:37. "Intimacy" by Perspective shift in 9th spot was recently released over on Glitch Audio, a label owned by the absolute legend that is Liquiddnbftw. Webby's "Somber" is a deeply pronounced and laid back roller which is available for free courtsey of MadWorld Recordings (link below). Joshua has been on fine form as always, simultaneously dropping two free downloads a few days back, one of them being "Never" (28:17). onesevenfour recently released a mammoth 20 track compilation which featured Twintone's wonderful "Celeste" (35:40). Big love going out to Laminar for the beautiful "Daybreak", available now on his own label Azure Audio. A few older pieces in here as usual. Solar Flare by Alexvnder was part of the "Outset" EP on Differential Recordings just shy of 3 years ago, marking their first ever release. "Go Through" by Mojoman & Nicolas Carl dropped via C Recordings in April 2016. The same year saw "Fleeting Love" by Monrroe grace our ears via Galacy, and sticking with 2016 once more, "Cotton" by XCUZMe was released on Bay 6 during July of that year.

Starting off this liquid drum & bass mix, for the third time in a row, with a track featuring Alexvnder, this time he teams up with Imba on the beautiful "Absolution". Invadhertz up next, the wonderful "Intoxicated" rolls in just before 2 minutes. Next up, one of the most beautiful tracks I've heard from Calibre, "Funny Games" is part of Shelflife 5 which was released this past Friday on Signature Recordings. The "Yesterday" EP is out now on Celsius Recordings, the title track features at 10:42. Thread recently came at us with an exquisite piece featuring Emily Lomas called "1714" which is available for free on Boey Audio. Speaking of free downloads, Dkay returned to gift us the wonderful "Cool September", link for that below. A man who featured in second spot last week, Modest Intentions is back again with the sensational "So Deep", again, a free download. Over the last decade within liquid drum & bass Colossus has carved a truly phenomenal discography. Having made an explosive return to the scene in early 2020 with an army of solo pieces, EP's, collaborations which featured on prestigious labels such as Bay 6, Galacy & The Drum & Bass 4 Autusm compilation to name a few. He even threw down the fully fledged versatile multi-genre album "Third Face" which transparently represents his musical versatility, style and attributes. Taking another look at an expanding force within liquid drum & bass. Leniz 's rise in the scene has been attributed to his ever increasing quality of output and the gradual fortification of a truly outstanding discography. Having worked with some incredible artists such as Alexvnder, Cosmic Sequence, Henry, Aetherial and Humanature, Leniz's style stands out in it's own right, as well as gracefully complementing some of the best in the business. Having already been billed for the mighty Liquicity festival in the middle of July, there's even a chance to take the stage alongside this man thanks to a DJ contest currently being run by the label. Kicking off 2019 with Uzi's scintillating "Green Grocer". Deep Jungle recently dropped Dillinja's monstrous "Luscious Nights" which remained a dub since 1995. A freebie from the legends that are Law & Kola Nut, "Analyse" is available on their Soundcloud (link below). The mighty Mac-V features twice, firstly with "Tombs & Ruins", and again just before 26 minutes with "Planets". "What You Waiting" for by Scattyone was a mid December release via In The Jungle Recordings. "Pluto's Song" by Threshold is part of Deadman's Chest "Blunted" compilation, the title track also features. The up and coming Leniz is hauling some serious weight, "Gimme That Style" features at 18 and a half minutes. The admirable K2T also dropped a wonderful remix of Pablo Zuazo's "Macaco Nu Jazz" in the middle of last month. A few older tracks in here as per usual, Dillinja's classic remix of "Azura" by 808 State was released back in 1996. Randall & Andy C's "Sound Control" was Ram Records' 11th release, hitting the shelves 25 years ago back in 1994, and last but by no means least, the scorching "VIP Dial" by the late great Spirit hit our shelves via Inneractive in 2015.

"Stirling" by Pablo & George is an absolutely wicked piece taken from their new "Orbit" EP which is out now on Soul Deep. "Missing You" by Wez Walker features just before the half hour mark, that's available now on Mathematica. Tomorrow see's the day both "Watch At Night" and "Get Away" by Geety alongside Seathasky makes it's way to Celsius Recordings, both tracks are due to drop tomorrow the 28th of January, and staying on the topic of the wonderful Geety, he also teamed up with Impression to throw down a brilliant EP which is forthcoming on Soul Deep in early February, both "Every Night" and "Love Nobody" feature in the mix.

A Dutch prodigy within liquid drum & bass, and a man with a very mature touch, Edlan has already left a massive impression within the scene. Tearing it up for the last two years on both Fokuz Recordings and now Liquicity, he's has deservedly made a name for himself with sensational pieces like "One Way Home", "Shadow" featuring Emy Perez, his most recent "Ravine" EP and the outstanding remix of Smote's classic "My World" to name a few. Wielding a repertoire most veterans would stand proud of, Edlan truly has the scene in the palm of his hands, and you can bet his arsenal of absolute stunning rhythms will only continue to grow as the years progress. Already part of two significantly large labels within the scene, who knows what the future holds, but it's already looking very special. Questionably one of the best drum and bass labels of all time, Bassbin Recordings ceased progress in 2009. Many artists who are considered the finest ever in drum and bass laid their trade down on Bassbin between the years of 2000 & 2009, with names like Seba, Alix Perez, Zero Tolerance, Random Movement, Breakage, Beta 2 & many more giving us a taste of the best the genre had to offer. Starting off this liquid drum & bass mix with a sensational piece from AM94, "Meant To Be" is out now on Separate The Sound. The mighty Colossus up in second spot with an absolutely phenomenal remix of the title track from K2T's debut album "The Tranquility Of Being With The Self", that is out today on Detached Audio. Decrese's "Mantra" EP is out now on Live History Recordings, "Life Pass" is up in third spot. Forthcoming action from Ben Rolo & HD in fourth spot, "Foundations" as well as "Real Change" (1:51:09) will be making their way to Glitch Audio in early April. Josephs Perception's "No. 97" EP is out now on Liquid Flavors, "Breazy Notes" features just after 10 mins. ALB threw down a sensational EP on Ram Records called "Voyage", with the title track alongside flowanastasia, "Distant" and "Spaced Out" all feature. Liquid Memoirs came through Influenza Media at the turn of the month with a double release in the form of "Summit" & "Trance", both tracks feature. Digital Native's stunning "How Can It Be" features just before 19 minutes. The title track of Harry Shotta's new EP up next, "Growth" alongside Erb N Dub rolls in just before 21 minutes. Aleyum's "Memories In Motion" EP is out now on Offworld Recordings, the title track & "Midnight In Seoul" both feature. The "Aperture" EP by Dan Guidance & Echo Motion is out now on Four Corners Music, all 4 tracks feature in the mix. Echo Motion appearing once again, this time alongside Marvel Cinema with "Console" (1:53:22). Skuff's brilliant 6 track "Note 2 Self" EP is out now on Camo Tribe & Liquid Tribe Recordings, "Breath In Liquid, "Be Kind" and "In Vain" all feature. Seba's amazing "Breathe Deep" EP is out now on Spearhead, the title track as well as "So Beautiful" both feature in the mix.

Over the last year, Aetherial has already left an enormous mark on the liquid drum & bass scene, ruthlessly carving out 5 tremendous EP's, 3 of them alongside the amazing Cosmic Sequence, as well as a stack of truly stunning solo releases to boot. A man with a serious agenda, and an admirable standard of quality and creativity and a producer with a unique depth of sound with an air of mystery and darkness. With releases on High Tea Music, Soul Deep Recordings, Atmomatix, Boey Audio, Influenza Media and his newly formed label Inscape Audio alongside Cosmic Sequence to name a few, and also one part of the Ichorous duo alongside Former Allies, Aetherial has truly slayed 2018 and here's hoping there's plenty more to come for the rest of this year and next.
