The tranquil and mysterious Finnish wilderness coupled with total isolation fuelled his inspiration. It was through this detachment that he was truly free to pursue his art in the purest form. As is portrayed through the words of Etherwood’s favourite scholar Arthur Schopenhauer.

Med School’s freshest recruit serves up the ‘Losing My Mind’ EP, his debut solo release on the label since signing exclusively back in May. Earlier tracks with the imprint include 'Change Of Direction' and 'Another Year' on the acclaimed 'New Blood' series, he also joined in with big sister Hospital’s “We Are 18” birthday celebrations with ‘Requiem’.

Anile hones his production finesse into this elegant and sophisticated four-track EP. The title track combines bold brass stabs, brooding string sections and an indelible vocal hook into an alluring drum & bass roller. Throughout the rest of the assembly you can be sure to dote on a brew of deep-seated basslines, thoughtful musicality and rolling breaks.

Having delivered a scintillating remix of Blu Mar Ten earlier this year and with releases on the likes of Soul:r and Commercial Suicide, Anile looks to further cement his sound in the drum & bass consciousness with this latest collection of tracks on Med School. Friend and fellow German, Phace, has stepped up with a rework of 'Photone Recruits' that is somehow even heavier and more brutal than it's predecessor, receiving DJ support from S.P.Y, Ed Rush, Enei, June Miller, Foreign Concept and Radio 1 airplay from Rockwell and Friction. Austrian Mefjus adds his own high-energy twist to 'No More Vaccine' whilst Sarajevo's finest Billain gives 'Amber's Love Was Like A Marble' the full neuro treatment. In addition, Rawtekk supply a Neuropop VIP remix of their own 2011 YouTube hit 'Snowflakes', which featured on Med School's "New Blood 011" compilation and has racked up over 350,000 views.
