Nearly three years since the release of his last LP, virtuosic Russian trance & progressive composer Gregory Esayan graces us with his third full-length album, "My Guiding Star." One of the more high octane offerings from our recent Silk Royal Showcase 03 compilation was Fon.Leman & Louder Dale's "Holy Grail". We're excited to finally release this one as a full single on our Arrival division, including equally elegant and club-oriented remixes by Shingo Nakamura and SNR & MrMilkCarton.

Fon.Leman & Louder Dale, who continue to receive regular support on the world's leading progressive & trance shows (including Above & Beyond's "Group Therapy"), have fashioned an explosive, peak-hour stormer in their Original Mix.The track centers on a roaring bassline and a heavenly vox sample, the latter of which is extended in the main break to poignant effect. The dancefloor-smashing drop to follow is truly colossal and a veritable release highlight.

Japanese sensation Shingo Nakamura, who makes his first appearance on Arrival, follows with a more chilled progressive take. The listener is guided along by a soothing house rhythm, as the vocal motifs from the Original Mix begin to emerge. Meanwhile, Shingo's stunning piano work is once again on display, as several variations on the main theme appear throughout the tune.

Finally, Arrival veteran SNR has teamed up with fellow American talent Mrmilkcarton for a visionary, progressive trance rendering. We are once again treated to an innovative and dynamic club groove, an SNR signature, while the vocal themes swirl overhead. In the main break, a lovely piano line is introduced, along with a sexy breakbeat. The relatively chilled break leads into an explosive drop, which rivals the Original Mix in its thrilling, dancefloor-centered intensity.

Five years ago, we were introduced to the music of American composer Dan Sieg, who, at the time, was producing under the banner of "Dan & Sam." There are typically only a few newcomers to our musical niche each year who completely awe us with their talent; Dan was truly one of those artists. The demo in question was "Breaking The Illusion," which we ultimately released in October 2012. It quickly became a fan favorite that year and remains one of our most beloved releases, in our label's decade-long existence.

Flashing forward to the present: we have now had the privilege of working with Dan on numerous releases. Choosing to use his given name and surname, "Dan Sieg," in recent years to showcase his eclectic, distinct, and always visionary brand of electronic music, he has now released an artist album with us ("A Sense Of Wonder"), as well as various EPs, ranging in genre from drum & bass to progressive house. It's our great privilege to showcase his wonderful musical contributions to our imprint via "Dan Sieg / Dan & Sam 01," an artist retrospective.

Storming talent Matt Fax from France continues to contribute new, inspiring material to Silk, especially our Arrival division. This time he is ready with "Orion", including two new originals. The title track, "Orion", is also featured on the newly launched "Arrival 01: Destination United Kingdom" compilation.

"Orion" starts out smoothly with enjoyable pad layers and soothing sound effects. As the track progresses, numerous synths are added, and in the break, a lush theme melody emerges. Subtle piano chord stabs join the theme in creating a unique and mesmerizing atmosphere. A darker groove is introduced in "Hidden Feelings", where the break features a set of pleasant piano melodies and hypnotizing pad elements. The track continues in full effect, mainly enhanced by the powerful combination of the intriguing theme lead and rolling bassline.

Serbian phenom Vintage & Morelli has emerged as a singular talent on our roster. His extraordinary and truly unique compositional style, on which he has worked tirelessly over the last 15 years, combines elements of house, progressive, trance, and downtempo into vivid, cinematic soundscapes that never fail to move the listener. Since releasing "My Rose Enchanted Destiny," his debut artist album, over 3 years ago, his career has reached new heights, thanks to a consistent output of acclaimed singles and EPs on our label, as well as various contributions to the likes of Anjunabeats, Armada, and FSOE. On the heels of live dates in Australia and The Netherlands, Vintage & Morelli will tour the States for the first time this summer, as the main headliner of our Silk Music Showcase #500 Tour.

Needless to say, the stage is set for the arrival of "Hymn To The Night," his greatly anticipated second artist album. Representing the pinnacle of Vintage & Morelli's musical development, the album offers a full spectrum of his composition gifts, from gorgeous orchestral and breaks tracks to a significant amount of peak-hour progressive house and trance cuts. That's not all: his long-standing collaborator Arielle Maren, the extraordinary American singer-songwriter who has graced so many of Vintage & Morelli's most famous works, makes a tremendous contribution to this record, with her characteristically stirring lyrics and vocals gracing no less than five of the tracks on this album, including the singles "Breathe" and "Lonely Shore," the latter also featuring instrumental touches from renowned producer RNX. Canadian singer-songwriter Brandon Mignacca also appears twice on the album; his recent work with Sound Quelle introduced his beautiful songwriting and vocal performances to our community, and his collaborations with Vintage & Morelli on this album -- "Love Is" and "Bloom" -- profoundly and poignantly celebrate the healing power of love. There is quite literally a song for all electronic music tastes on "Hymn To The Night," and Vintage & Morelli pours his soul into each and every track, with sweeping instrumental motifs decorating the canvas of each arrangement. It is our extraordinary honor to present this album to our Silk Music Family, as well as new fans of emotive electronic music from across the globe.
