Kicking off 2019 with Uzi's scintillating "Green Grocer". Deep Jungle recently dropped Dillinja's monstrous "Luscious Nights" which remained a dub since 1995. A freebie from the legends that are Law & Kola Nut, "Analyse" is available on their Soundcloud (link below). The mighty Mac-V features twice, firstly with "Tombs & Ruins", and again just before 26 minutes with "Planets". "What You Waiting" for by Scattyone was a mid December release via In The Jungle Recordings. "Pluto's Song" by Threshold is part of Deadman's Chest "Blunted" compilation, the title track also features. The up and coming Leniz is hauling some serious weight, "Gimme That Style" features at 18 and a half minutes. The admirable K2T also dropped a wonderful remix of Pablo Zuazo's "Macaco Nu Jazz" in the middle of last month. A few older tracks in here as per usual, Dillinja's classic remix of "Azura" by 808 State was released back in 1996. Randall & Andy C's "Sound Control" was Ram Records' 11th release, hitting the shelves 25 years ago back in 1994, and last but by no means least, the scorching "VIP Dial" by the late great Spirit hit our shelves via Inneractive in 2015.

A Dutch prodigy within liquid drum & bass, and a man with a very mature touch, Edlan has already left a massive impression within the scene. Tearing it up for the last two years on both Fokuz Recordings and now Liquicity, he's has deservedly made a name for himself with sensational pieces like "One Way Home", "Shadow" featuring Emy Perez, his most recent "Ravine" EP and the outstanding remix of Smote's classic "My World" to name a few. Wielding a repertoire most veterans would stand proud of, Edlan truly has the scene in the palm of his hands, and you can bet his arsenal of absolute stunning rhythms will only continue to grow as the years progress. Already part of two significantly large labels within the scene, who knows what the future holds, but it's already looking very special. Questionably one of the best drum and bass labels of all time, Bassbin Recordings ceased progress in 2009. Many artists who are considered the finest ever in drum and bass laid their trade down on Bassbin between the years of 2000 & 2009, with names like Seba, Alix Perez, Zero Tolerance, Random Movement, Breakage, Beta 2 & many more giving us a taste of the best the genre had to offer. Over the last year, Aetherial has already left an enormous mark on the liquid drum & bass scene, ruthlessly carving out 5 tremendous EP's, 3 of them alongside the amazing Cosmic Sequence, as well as a stack of truly stunning solo releases to boot. A man with a serious agenda, and an admirable standard of quality and creativity and a producer with a unique depth of sound with an air of mystery and darkness. With releases on High Tea Music, Soul Deep Recordings, Atmomatix, Boey Audio, Influenza Media and his newly formed label Inscape Audio alongside Cosmic Sequence to name a few, and also one part of the Ichorous duo alongside Former Allies, Aetherial has truly slayed 2018 and here's hoping there's plenty more to come for the rest of this year and next. Anthony Kasper made his liquid drum & bass label debut just shy of a decade ago and has since become a household name among the Fokuz & Celsius roster. Synonymous for throwing down an acutely unique sound brimming with soul & groove, Kasper's style tends to lean towards potent, snappy drums coupled with unpredictable funky basslines & profoundly catchy instrumentation. Kasper not only has the ability to go toe-to-toe, but also brings out the best when working alongside some of the top names in the business having previously collaborated with the likes of Satl, Malaky, Random Movement, Jaybee & CJ Styles to name a few. Subdivision carries a style of sound within the drum & bass genre which leaves plenty of room for diversity. Often slaying it with his unique deep liquid vibe, occasionally he'll offer a destructive and delectable roller from seemingly nowhere. Making his mark with a stack of solo efforts and collaborations alongside Surplus, Lusive, Aperio, the previously featured ALB, and most notoriously Precision, these two aforementioned artists drew forces to create the collaboration we now know as Koherent who are doing some serious damage on SGN LTD right now. Threyedens' brilliant new "Ice Peak" EP is now now Ignescent, the title track features just before 17 and a half minutes. Some forthcoming action from Phrase just after 22 minutes, "Winter's Touch" is taken from the Southern Lights EP which is due to drop on onesevenfour in early Feb '22, the title track alongside Lauren Walton also features just before 31 and a half minutes. River's "Alone" is out now on Incurzion Audio. Aperio's "Antwerp Nights" EP is out now on Galacy, "Switch" from that EP features just after 26 minutes with the title track making an appearance just before 39 minutes. Harking back to Option's wicked double release which dropped on Detached Audio this past Friday, "Mirror Of The Soul" features at 28 and a half minutes. "Rise" by the legendary Mage is out now on KillInc, and the wonderfully titled "Disappear" by Karma takes it's place near the end of the mix, it's a free download with the link available below.
