Logam's Atlanta-based Santoku Records return for their thirteenth release which includes a remix and an original track. On SAN013, you'll find the Gridlok remix of Mayhem & Logam's "All I Do", and "Transfixed" by newcomers Mean Teeth.

The duo Mean Teeth hail from Estonia, who are building a name with their dark, industrial vibes and innate sense of rhythm. Here, on Transfixed, they bring their entire a-game. Punchy drums correspond with grimey bass pressure, as they slowly build the tune up to its heights. Things then move into some mean and moody areas, populated with a weird, warped vocal sample and low end to match. Headnodding, compelling and insistent, Transfixed is guaranteed to grab your attention and not let go. Techstep inspired, this one brings through the future in no uncertain terms, and will mark Mean Teeth out as a name to watch out for.

It began as a whisper, spoken in low tones in multiple languages in the uneasy night. Talk of a place where the greatest of mecha roam, gathering amongst the desolate ruins of a war prepared for and never fought. The first explorers returned with stories of low frequency weapons, harvested from the ruined depths of a subterranean complex. With these re-engineered into towering relays capable of pure sonic carnage, the lands began filling rapidly with pilgrims from distant places, offering themselves as captives to their own higher mental states. What was once a mere whisper has now become legend, with this meeting of the mightiest clans bringing forth the greatest frequency warriors to stake out their claims.

EATBRAIN casts a long shadow across the fray, setting seasoned label veterans L 33 and MINDSCAPE into the hordes of adrenaline-fuelled ravers alongside recent label additions MACHINECODE and AGRESSOR BUNX - all of whom have LPs coming on t he label as well as appearing at the festival. A tight manifesto is stretched across the 4 rowdy and high-energy tracks that make up the EATBRAIN GOES TO LET IT ROLL, with the irresistible audio manipulative skills of Eatbrain crafted to exquisitely tear up the dance. A reflection in sound of the perfect marriage between one of the best contemporary neurofunk labels and one of the most impressive live spaces that exists for drum and bass.

Addictive Behaviour have always been about bringing through fresh new music, no matter who it's from, and have been the launching pad for many an amazing tune. Melt and Let Loose are no different, with both cuts ready to cement both label and artist in people's minds.

The amazing L 33 returns for Addictive Behaviour, with his latest release, Melt/Let Loose

MELT is a slowly building masterpiece, where electronic themes are established early. An interesting spoken sample bleeds into the main section, were haunting flutes are inserted over the top of some rich pads and ticking drum effects. The bassline is not forgotten, and once an energetic break comes along, the low end rises up in the mix, making the total package something totally unique and absurdly addictive. L 33 really can do it all, producing a track the like of which you've definitely not heard yet.

LET LOOSE also glides into view, but soon takes a different path, with stronger kicks and a more straightforward approach. The engineering is the equal of Melt, with finely tooled drums and more humming, marauding bass pressure. A vocal snatch reveals itself, before L 33 pours things back in, making for a rough, rising tune which is going to be an absolute killer in the clubs. You'll not be able
to resist moving and grooving to this one, so get ready for Let Loose.
