In the same vein as our all-day summer special, this huge 70 track mash-up spans across a full 360’ perspective of the genre; representing the established, up and coming, soulful, obscure, liquid, innovative, dark, techy, neuro, jungle style and everything in between.

Included are over 25 brand new exclusives from reputable drum & bass titans Danny Byrd, S.P.Y, Makoto and Keeno, there are VIPs from Metrik and Nu:Logic, remixes from Hugh Hardie, Total science, Camo & Krooked and Calibre, and a ‘Bullet Proof’ banger from Krakota.

Across two mixed CDs we’ve drawn for this year’s surefire summer weapons with Fred V & Grafix, The Prototypes, 1991, High Contrast, The Upbeats, Breakage in the mix. With this year’s Incubator stage pulling artists that are rising through the ranks, up and comers’ Whiney, Unglued, GLXY and Kyrist bring exciting new offerings to the compilation.

Logistics, one of Hospital Records’ most prolific artists, is back with his seventh studio album ‘Hologram’. Inspired by his travels to Hong-Kong and New Zealand, this universally admired drum & bass figure presents a vibrant 16-track collection soaked in his signature groove, soul and liquid-funk stylings.

Opening track ‘Lotus Flower’ sets a warm springtime tone with fluttering harp-like arpeggios and atmospheric pads. ‘Broken Light’ follows on from the success that singer/songwriter Thomas Oliver brought on Logistics’ collaborative LP with brother Nu:Tone. A sombre tone matched with melancholic lyrics bring a blissful beat to the album.

Keeping true to the craft, ‘Chant’ flips to Logistics’ jungle style with molten-hot flair. A powerful punch of expertly sliced breaks and vocal stabs are the ingredients for this dancefloor weapon.

It’s safe to say that this has been worth the wait. Although titled from the ever-growing illusion of the digital-age, ‘Hologram’ is an example of Logistics’ very real talent and is a welcomed addition to his impressive repertoire of drum & bass classics. In 2018 Hospital Records flew the drum & bass family to the shores of Tisno for a five day getaway in the glorious Croatian sunshine. Fred V is heading straight into 2020, taking things above and beyond since his ‘Proximity’ EP with the latest chapter in his solo story, the ‘Distance’ EP. As one of the founders of Japan’s drum & bass culture, Makoto is a man who needs little introduction. On his sixth studio album, ‘Tomodachi Sessions’, he presents 15-tracks of exquisite, sun-drenched drum & bass soul. Fred V & Grafix bring a breath of fresh air with their long-awaited second album ‘Oxygen’. Krakota - Ghosts

Following on from “Xylo”, Krakota’s “Ice Hands” and “Ghosts” duo brings a chillingly cold welcome to the second chapter of his Hospital release story. With both tracks delivering enslaving bass-lines that quickly seize your undivided attention, going hand-in-hand to display his ear-grabbing talent and sophisticated skill. A single that revitalises the darkened corners of drum and bass and slaps you with an over whelming urge to hit your nearest dance floor.

“Ice Hands”, Evoking sci-fi inspired scenes that lull you into a false sense of security before a sudden turn. Submerging you in a deep pit of quick punching synths with complex drum-patterns that let you get lost. A track that teases the ear, discovering new found levels with each play.

The futuristic sounds of “Ghosts” surround you with a sense of the supernatural. A progressive build of percussions creep up like a rocket ready to launch before dropping into an accompaniment of transfixing sub-bass and filthy synths that grab you and won’t let go. A track not only to keep your ears warm at night but ideal for any dance-floor, guaranteed to revive any 5AM fall downs.

Once more Bournemouth-based Sebastian Inwood has earned his stripes with a clear-cut Krakota sound running throughout.
