Skankandbass is dedicated towards the official promotion of record labels and artists in the world of drum & bass music. Since inception in 2009, Skankandbass has unearthed some of the freshest talents in the scene and has opened many doors for unsigned artists. Now, through Skankandbass Introducing, we release a series of free download singles which aims to spread the work of the best unsigned, newcomer artists who deserve more recognition.

SNB081 marks the triumphant coming out party of Kai Morgan, aka latesleeper. A Bristol based young producer with a history including future trap, house and drum & bass aliases; the highly ambitious latesleeper project was born in late 2020 with a goal of reimagining dance music cliches into something fresh. Her debut on Skankandbass Introducing delivers two stunning cuts of forward thinking drum & bass with ‘She Grew Wings / Six Gill’, highlighting the aggressive and complex nature of her artistic expression.
