"Probably the most personal song I have written. 'It’s Me' is about checking in with yourself and not feeling like you have to put on a front all the time. I don’t normally write lyrics this direct so I didn’t know how comfortable I was with them for a while. It was around 5am when I first put the words together and because of how tired I was, I guess I wasn’t overthinking too much. The tune uses loads of video recordings I had on my phone of personal moments which mean quite a lot to me but musically I guess are to build stress and relief.” – Jason Nolan
