For those of you who didn't already know, I have released an EP! It's
a 4 track EP entitled 'For the Future' This is a special moment for me because it is my first ever release and it is all down to you guys!

1 year ago I decided to start making Drum & Bass mixes, but it was 1-2 years before that when I found a love for producing music.
I originally set up this channel for my own music and now I combine it with mixes. For me, this channel is just a portfolio of all my music creativity whether it's producing songs, remixes or mixes.

I really hope you give this EP a listen because releasing an EP is what I have dreamed of doing for a long time.

Some people have asked about donating to this channel, and the best way in which you can do that is by purchasing this from an online retail store such as iTunes, Amazon, Bandcamp e.t.c
The EP is also free to listen to on streaming sites such as Spotify, Deezer & Apple Music

↪ Full Description of the EP:
'For The Future' is the first release from 19 year-old UK based produced Matt Horton. For the past 2 years he has been experimenting with his own liquid blend of Dubstep and Drum & Bass that encompasses real instruments such as cellos, violins, pianos and organs. The 4 tracks on the EP are all very much different. Each song conveys a very different emotion from previous one.

'Wonder' is the first track on the EP and is certainly the busiest! The tune introduces itself with choral harmonies which along with added strings develops into euphoria. Arpeggios on the harp soon come in just before the textbook bass wobbles bring us back into 2009 when Dubstep was at its most wobbly. As the song continues to develop Horton experiments with different drumbeats, the second drop pounds down hard with a massive four to the floor beat.

'In Motion' comes in straight to the sound of some looped bells This mature piece of liquid Drum & Bass is a whole 32bpm faster than 'Wonder'. This piece builds very slowly until some breaks come in shortly followed by the drop. It is here when you can witness an orchestral flourish and thick layers of emotion.

'Timeless' was originally put out on Soundcloud 2 years ago. And since then it has already gone through a transformation, but Horton decided to give it yet another one. This one is all about the powerful echoey lead which comes in on the drop. It is so overwhelming and can only make on dream. The speech implemented halfway through the track is Carl Sagan's famous 'The Pale Blue Dot' speech.

'Time to Move On' is the fourth and final track of the EP, but Horton saved his best 'till last. This emotional piece of Chillout/Chillstep came about when Matt was going through a temporary low point in his life, and this certainly is reflected in the music. Here you can just sit back and relax whilst liquid emotion floods through your veins.
