Peace cannot last forever. Evil has risen again, this time with much more devastating power. Hope remains, however, for the prophecies have foretold of great champions who will rise up and defeat the evil, forever banishing the darkness.

As the war raged on, hope began to dwindle. One by one the heroes fell to the inexorable onslaught of the demonic horde, until only one remained. All the people prayed for the hero to deliver them, clinging to their faith in the prophecy. As the final battle commenced, the hero was savagely killed.

The remaining survivors fell quickly, leaving the world enveloped in shadow. The prophecy was wrong. . .
