At the climax of COVID I had to leave New York and move back to my childhood home and for the first time I was confronted with the thought that things were not getting better, a stark contrast to my previous life. Every day I ran several miles to come to terms with this change. Like my repetitive daily run, I was back to the beginning, back in Florida. But one day, on the same route as always, this song came to me and I finally felt like myself again. Almost spiritual, a kind of reawakening.
