Chillstep is a sub-genre of Dubstep. It is heavily influenced by Ambient, Downtempo, Liquid Funk and Future Garage. The half-time rhythms and usually the low wobbles of the Brostep area unit are usually locked in a chill, however, they are less intense and additional rests. Sub-bass is normally used on most tracks.
A style of music composed of dubstep tracks with cold tones. Low bass, slow rhythms, add a woman's voice to the hook and you get a chill. Any talented dubstep maker recognizes chillstep and produces chillstep tracks
