Beat Culture is manufactured by 17-year old Sunik Kim, who, simply put, creates experimental-dream-glitch-post-dubstep. The cohesive and cleverly produced "Goldenbacked Weaver" is Beat Culture's debut album filled with a swirl of sub-genres and samples; you can hear a slight influence of Gold Panda, Animal Collective, Star Slinger, Burial and others. From Hong Kong (but actually Korean) and attending boarding school in Concord, New Hampshire, Beat Culture's tracks consists of catchy phrases and atmospheric beats that "push tracks past the limit with no regard for the rules" . He currently has a second LP, "Tokyo Dreamer", in production.
