With Audacity you are able to use effects to artificially generate a radio voice and significantly improve your voice quality. This method works best for podcasts, shoutcasts and commentary. It uses the compressor, equalizer and the remove noise functionality for perfect sound quality of your microphone. This is mainly for people who don't have a good microphone and/or a mixer with equalization options. If you do, this is all not relevant for you. Maybe only the 'Noise Removal' function is handy for you.
