All Ed Rush & Optical Mix

In 1998 the world's first "Wormhole" was formed. The debut album of what was a newly created Virus recordings is quite possibly the most landmark LP produced in the history of drum and bass. It reached the top 40 of the UK album charts and was so inspirational it paved the way for producers to expand on this style in such mass and with such creativity that today we refer to this style collectively as "Neurofunk". Focusing on perfect and solid drum patters coupled with scrupulous middle to low basslines, the virus sound has been absolutely prolific and unswerving in its quintessential approach to drum and bass. Ed Rush & Optical themselves are still releasing under their label Virus, dropping their most recent album in November 2015. This mix takes you through some of their stone cold classics, as well as tracks from 'Wormhole', 'Travel The Galaxy' and a few from their new album 'No Cure'. Also taking into account that you've probably heard 'Pacman' and 'Chubrub' a million times already ;)
