Oathless:
is the brain-child of Simon Housley. Hailing from Meir [Stoke On Trent]. Housley began his foray into music production back in late 2006. As with any passion, Oathless has matured and evolved over the years. Starting out with merely an acoustic guitar, a cheap keyboard and a low quality microphone, the folk song "Aeon" was composed and released. In early 2007, two more folk tracks were released. However, as Housley gained more experience, and explored his tastes, Oathless began to move in a new direction.

As his career progressed, Housley began to use his music as a way to vent his negative thoughts and emotions. A year after the initial 3 tracks were produced, Housley released 'Scars Beyond the Transcendental' which had a greater production value and built upon the ambient aspects of the previous work. 5 months later, Oathless returned with a new EP, "Astray" which moved in an almost completely ambient direction. Currently, Housley is at University studying music technology. As such his technique has improved and the quality of his work has improved drastically. The Oathless discography now includes "Lambent Amber Winds" released in October 2008, "Seen through Reflection", released in July 2009, "Zephyr" which was released in march 2010, "Standing Where Our Paths Shall Meet" which was released by Hawk Moon Records in November 2010 and the "My Mistake EP" which was released in June 2011. Oathless is an interpretation of Housleys emotions, and invokes a strong atmosphere when listened to in the right circumstances.
